Can you "finish" oblivion? At least I never did, not everything. Main story, Isles, assassins guild and knights of the nine, three times. Probably 70% of the rest of the content maybe once. Then a bunch of mods including the archeologists guild.

As for TES being about mods, I agree. And really this can be done in an mmo. I suggested that in some early dev news forum regarding TES online. You have like EQ2 and Ryzom doing something with content development in-game tools. Older examples like second life... but not that open of course but with existing assets and a fair scripting language. Have a core game and then allow players to build around that, mostly instanced of course but with full old school raid group size limits (though not necessarily raid groups). From dungeons to guild owned towns, a complete creative package.

I'm in it for the money

same here Oblivion is still on my machine since the first day it was installed almost 6 years ago.. ok i bought a new pc but it was one of the first things i installed on it , I have afew thousand hours probably on it and i still have open quest lines , same with skyrim , not that many hours but still
and with mods you add even more things todo

what i am really intrested in is the news that somebody is actually rebuilding morrowwind around the skyrim game engine , some of the screenshots just look awesome ; atleast the screenshots shown on steam and i can't acces steam at work sadly or i linked them

I do not agree with what you are saying , but i will defend to the death your right to say it...... Voltaire

That's awesome. I hope they actually finish it at some point, since I have serious issues getting Morrowind to work properly. It would be so convenient to have it be upgraded to modern standards and work flawlessly without workarounds.

Also this was released today, so I guess Beth just made their job a lot easier. Cool

Now..THAT is something to get excited about! I have over 2000 hrs logged into Skyrim already, I see many many more ahead.

Thank you for that. I have been away from the Beth forums for quite some time now. I should pay the old gang a visit.

EDIt : I just watched 3 more times...

Dragon mounts...Spears...The mod community will have a field day with this. Then it will be truly epic.
