Since the beginning of October eve has simply stopped running after i click play in the patch update screen. Patches still come through, but the game itself simply turns off once I press play. I have this problem on 2009 mac desk top running Mountain Lion, and on my mac book which has Lion. i haven't made any changes to the computers, and I can't seem to get a response from ccp. I even took the tower into the Apple store, but they told me that it was a third party issue and that they couldn't help me. Does anyone know how I could fix this, or what may have happened that's causing this?

In general a really messed up Mac client can only be made to work by tossing everything and re-installing. The client and the Eve Online folder in the /Library/Application Support folder. Its a royal pain. To make it somewhat less painful, I keep a separate copy of my overview file stored elsewhere.
