AFTER-ACTION REPORT: EVAULON SOLAR SYSTEM

Two hours ago, a Combined Harvest employee by the name of Roella Avechomon began broadcasting corrupted distress signals in the Summit FTL. Eventually, it was discovered a Serpentis raid was occuring on Evaulon VII. A Combined Harvest plantation attached to the city of Rilnais had been victim of a gas attack. The death toll is in the hundreds.

Serpentis ground forces were targeting a local poppy called 'Isiris'. Local military forces appeared to be overwhelmed, and contact was lost with Roella Avechomon in due course. Thereafter, a total of 8 capsuleers in direct employ of the Serpentis Corporation and Guardian Angels showed up on the scene, and attempted to extract samples of 'Isiris' into space. Their fleet was composed exclusively of Vindicator-class battleships.

However, an FDU rapid response fleet jumped into the orbit of Evaulon VII, equipped with carriers and dreadnoughts. The FDU force proceeded to decimate the Serpentis fleet. While the Serpentis seem to have failed in extracting any Isiris samples (or whatever it is they were looking for), it seems that there was no way we could prevent the gas attack on the city of Rilnais, since distress calls came after the release of the noxious vapour.

The Scope will be broadcasting all further developments. Media channels appear to be unaware of the attacking force. Let it be known it was the Serpentis, along with their Guardian Angel allies.

It's interesting how something valuable and rare often dances on the knife's edge of benefit or hazard.

Emotional and Spiritual journeys inward if handled in the 'right' way... poisonous clouds of pestilance if handled in the 'wrong 'way.

Although which is which can be an interesting question of course *smile*

Impressive response on the part of those FDU capsuleers involved. I'll need to follow further developments more closely.
