Isk making oppertunity IN HI SEC

I think there is isk to be made in moon location services, not the sale of the moon per say but only location of unoccupied moon, like so many selling WH locations people could post requisites for moon location or system type they are looking for. If you didn't want to scout for moons what would you pay to have this lazy man service provided?
I see enough post to believe it could be a side income but needs organized real estate agents. Big smile

I think there's even more isk to be made in the POS removal service. Then I don't need your moon location service - only a handful of dreads. Sigh, when will care-bears understand...

Welp, I'm a 'carebear' and you have the better idea.

By the time it's hard to find moons, almost all of them will be taken. It won't be much longer till all the good ones are taken. The rest aren't wanted.

Great, so go take some dreads and have fun killing POS's in hi sec. Clue, (side income).

You don't need a Dread; you just need a fleet of about 200 Stealth Bombers, and some Indies full of Torps.

..actually, this would be perfect for Militia Corps. Most Militia fly Stealth Bombers already, they know Lowsec in their locations, and members cover most time zones.

Basic plan would be to set up a POS removal service, gather fleet when a contract is made, reinforce POS, and then have members watch it and mail when it comes out of reinforced. Reform fleet and take it down, collect remaining ISK.

You'd need about 50% up front of a minimum 500 Million fee, (reasonable for a Highsec POS in 0.7 and above I think, but it would scale from small to Large POS, and more for Faction POS. Maybe 500 for S, 600 for M, and 750 for L, add 50 for Faction on all Categories, then add a cumulative 20% to the fee for each drop in Security level below 0.7.

You'd also need some pilots with Stealth Transports to carry Torps in and out of lowsec and other areas. War Decs are required to do this in High, and sensibly in low as well. Not a must in Low, but in most cases it would be practical. Add Wardec fee if over an included amount, and potentially add more if the Corp is active and has enough member to be a problem.

Refuse contracts if they look to be a problem. Some research required, initial recon and appraisal of POS Corps capabilities and activity level, prior to contract acceptance and collection of fee, etc..

When not bashing POS', there's the fallback on Faction Warfare activities.

I used to provide a service setting up POS for people in the highest sec possible of Minmatar or Gallente space. Had plenty of free space compared to the lower sec systems, but people didn't show much interest, and when the game was changed so people can't see my standings are high enough to place POS i just gave up.

Thank you sir for not trolling, humm so maybe only very small income maker, I have started to compile a list of systems that have open opportunities for those who maybe looking for offbeating paths since reconing many systems to see opportunities I find it funny that people all gather in these systems crowded and ***** about lack of this or that, also I do go many times to low sec and I have no ideal why they say there's nothing for low sec to do, I used my ships scanner and found 5 spawns in hi sec you may have about 2 maybe 3 but those spawns offer nothing campared with low, I probe, I got 4 hits (not ship scanner), not to mentioned the ratting to be done on the roid fields, and I forget how freaking massive Veldspar roids (and others are) Veldspar roid looked like a moon it was so damn big I was guessing atleast 200k + in size, but alas people don't travel enough in this game to find all the opportunities out there. Don't blame it on Dev's or anyone else, it's out there but don't be afraid of doing 20 or 30 jumps to find stuff to do. By the way if I find stuff I either A. Buy what I need there. Or B. Bring stuff with me, try it, jump in a shuttle and auto pilot it in a few min come back when you make it to destination and scout.

The main thing you'll find if you watch long enough is that there's a fairly high turnaround, meaning out of all the people who set up a POS, only a minority keep them going for any real length of time. Your average moon may change hands a few times each year.

1st rule about opportunity is you don't talk about opportunity to the public

just get on it if its such a badass idea, then you can see how bad it really is first hand.

You are about to engage in an arguement with a forum alt,  this is your final warning.

The only thing that makes a hisec moon "good" is its location. Everything else is irrelevant.

Similar idea that might work is a POs locator service. I haven't given this much thought so take it as-is.

So, you visit every moon in hi and low regularly and document the POS owner. Then charge people to find out if/where a particular corp or alliance has POSs located.

The success would rely on accuracy of your data. Not sure if it would be worth the ISK for the time involved but there is only one way to find that out.

A POS can be taken out in high sec, too. In fact the word "nitwit" means I shall keep a special eye out for your POS... then I will show you how easy it is.
