is there an actual class of Blockade Runner ships or is it just ships with a certain module fit that make it a blockade runner?

Class of ship. It refers to half of the transports -- the ones that can fit a covops cloak.

Get the minmatar one. With two highs you can fit both a cloak and a probe launcher in case you need to find/exit a wormhole.

Or, depending on your needs, get anything but the Minmatar one as it's the only one that can't -- even with T2 rigs -- haul a packaged cruiser.

who needs packaged cruisers when you can instead haul and anchor hundreds of containers with obscene messages in other people's wormholes.

Prowler is by far the best one for wormhole use due to being able to fit cloak and probes not to mention how fast it is - but others (specifically viator) are better for k-space use as they can potentially survive a single nado gank where the prowler is less likely.

If your getting shot by a nado in almost any space in a blockade runner your doing ti wrong. Align, cloak, profit.

If your getting shot by a nado in almost any space in a blockade runner your doing ti wrong. Align, cloak, profit.



Sometimes you will land short of stations/gates or lag a little on landing on a station giving a suicide gank pilot just enough time to scan and shoot at you if hes on the ball - or that one time your just not paying attention and forget to cloak or whatever.
