Everything is like eve in that game but you are in a cocpit and it is simulated

I hope it doesn't kill eve, but if it is anything like it looks in the trailers and what the freelancer game creator is saying its going to be, for example he says its market is going to be the same as eve online and on one server, it is possibly going to kill this game., it has raised over $10 million in crowd sourcing funding already!

So CCP you got 2 years before this game is relased and null and low sec is dieing, you got 2 years to fix null and low and the rest of it or you may suffer greatly from the relased game.

I for one will join that game in 2 years time if it is what it appears to be and if eve is still as it is..

Yeah, give everyone in null a cockpit. Problem solved, even got 1.999999 years before that game is released.

If you're going to talk, could you at lease take two seconds to remove that pen!s from inside your mouth. Its a little rude to speak with ones mouth full.

The Thorax has to prepare for the coming of star citizen, so it would indeed be nice for it to be out of nicky's mouth.

Like STOL killed eve?

EVE will just kick SC into touch. Again.

Ha and its on kick starter. Well I've yet to see a serious MMO from kick starter come close to being released.

Is Star Citizen an MMO?

No! Star Citizen will take the best of all possible worlds, ranging from a permanent, persistent world similar to those found in MMOs to an offline, single player campaign like those found in the Wing Commander series. The game will include the option for private servers, like Freelancer, and will offer plenty of opportunities for players who are interested in modding the content. Unlike many games, none of these aspects is an afterthought: they all combine to form the core of the Star Citizen experience.

Not sure at all. Sci fi space ship based games are old concepts but none had this magic factor eve offers and that makes it the only interesting in the MMO market: single shard+player driven content

Doesn't matter how much good or worst those will be, those company's investing in right now figured out everyone is tired of elves dwarfs and trolls, they're all clones and fantasy world games market is saturated while decent space ships games are not.
Expect different offers pleasing to masses in years to come, CCP improves the game as much as they can but are stuck in their tight vision of it. It's far from being that elitist than many nerds claim, as character/pilot your multitasking credentials are proportional to the number of alts and screens you use and this, will always make a huge difference in between Eve and future space based single shard games to come.
As it stands and looking at it from some distance, Eve looks more like the game for pro multi boxing nerds based on some uncontrollable economy (player driven) rather than space ships/pilots.

Eve is not ready to die, but for sure will never hit the 15 millions score of another known game. The day some company does what it takes to get there you'll still be playing eve, but the other one too for sure. Eve will look like that ex girlfriend you see at the hotel occasionally despite both being married, you can't definitively leave it but you can't live without neither Lol
