First you ban the Sky Captain of my heart from posting on the forums, then you try to tell us who can and cannot hold roles in our corporation? This is censorship on a level unseen since Nazi Germany in World War II.

What gives you the right to remove the members of Goonswarm from the contact list?
Explain to me why an employee of CCP hf. gets to dictate who can be listed as a contact for alliance affairs.
Tell me why if not for censorship this thread was moved from the widely read forum for piracy to a less significantly read forum.

I cannot believe that the honour of our beloved sky captain Lyris Nairn is being questioned in this thread, first by the general public and then by an employee of CCP, hf. I can understand the general contempt from clueless members of the public that assume this program is some sort of scam or whatever, but why is there so much hatred from CCP Phantom directed towards Lyris? First a ban, and now blatant censorship that amounts to directly interfering in the course of the game.

I signed up to play this game because of the videos that claimed this is a sandbox where you can do pretty much anything, and where players are free to form groups and do things together. Is that not true? Is how I play this game actually going to dictated to me by a disgruntled forum moderator with a chip on his shoulder? If so, then you can kiss my accounts goodbye and those of my sponsors, too. Sure there will be people that respond to this with "good riddance," but I doubt CCP wants to lose even more customers to bad public relations.

Tell me this is some sort of freak occurrance.

While I admit that I am undereducated in the dynamics of ice mining I want to see if you follow my basic suppositions here. Obviously getting some HiSec pew-pew harshing for the rank and file, and having their name ring out, are considerable objectives for the Goons. Or at least for the rank-and-file. But if you look at their organization as a whole ( say how they maintain their null-sec) it seems pretty obvious that Goon leadership puts forth a bit more thought and has clearer understanding of the game. So I am puzzling at the less obvious economic outcomes.

So anyone out there pay the ISK to get on the whitelist? Had a nice little talk with a ganker after getting contacted by the goons to get on the whitelist, trying to decide if its legit or not. Of course its Goon, but....

Not that you will feel inclined to believe me (being as how I am one of those evil goonies), but in the interest of toeing the party line rhetoric here I will go ahead and pipe up to inform you that we do, in fact, respect the white list. The problem with this and the reason why you may or may not have heard contrary reports is that there are some specified people to whom you can speak in order to arrange the white list—myself or Venus Vermillion, and certain others we internally designate—but there are thousands more random goons whom all have Internet connections and can see this forum thread. Since we have no policy in place to punish enterprising young goons who get it in their heads to steal your money from you, nor the intention of ever devising such a policy, there exists the possibility that the specific goon with whom you discuss about this topic may not be a genuine handler of this operation. There is also no rule in place to compel even those who are genuinely associated with this project to actually go through with the terms laid out in the OP or with the protection racket: this is entirely a voluntary thing that myself and a few other goons have decided to put together for our personal amusement, and you are depending entirely on a combination of factors which you may not be able to determine ahead of time.

I suppose that probably didn't allay your concerns, eh?
