Where's the Retribution speculation?

I've been a lurker for years but haven't posted much, lets see if this is a mistake, probably, anyway..

Where are the Retribution speculation posts?

We all know there's speculation going on related to the Retribution expansion. Shouldn't one of you trillionaires who have already invested all your capital be making some type of extremely complex essay with tons of detailed graphs and charts to push the market where you want? Cmon, use your fame to get us masses to prop up your predictions with foolish lemmingness so you don't even need to be right to get richer.

Or am I too early? I've always had a problem with premature isk speculation...

Nothing is changing that isn’t blatantly obvious, like t3 farms switching production away from tengus. Same with Drakes.

The only thing people thought of profiting off was a suspected link between PI and Dust items, but that’s been rebuked by the seeding of items in the market. FW nerf came early, and those 2 or 3 people that didn’t see it coming must be very angry, the rest are sitting on products that will last them another 2 years. :p

so, i dont think theres much to speculate anyway... as usual, PLEX might be interesting as theres some items that seem to be similar, but for dust players.

No you're not early at all. In fact this is the perfect time to start speculating. Never mind the fact that all relevant information is out for weeks if not months already - that's just an unimportant detail. You should absolutely spend your fortune at this most opportune moment. I can't say exactly what you should buy of course, but you may want to have a look at fullerides (but don't tell anyone!)

You could probably still make something by buying up +5 implants. The price has only increased by 5-10 mil since the FW nerf. They're going to settle back around 140-150 mil in a few months once stockpiles are depleted.

If there was away to short PLEX you could probly make some ISK speculating... it'll probably go down to ~500 million but I have doubts it'll ever dip into the 400s again

Its going to take 2-3 years at least for them stocks to be depleted... possibly 5 years if alot of the accounts with tons of them in thier hagars don't unsub

Maybe. I'd still expect a steady rise over the next few months. Most FW farmers cashed out already. The stockpilers wil want the price to rise.

Buy or manufacture Orcas.

First few days after the scanable cargo bays patch hits there will be dozens of Orcas getting popped hauling items they didn't know could be scanned. This also means that valuable items will not be as easily transported as they have in the past, so people who have in the past used Orcas for hauling (mainly because of their speed compared to a freighter) will now no longer have the free pass.

Prices will be going up because of the demand to replace all the lost ships just from the first initial release days.

Also now that Orcas will be targeted more (and lost more frequently) there will be a big grab for Orca related manufacturing BPO's from the sales orders forum as well as contracts because of the higher demand for the ships.

It will take about 2 weeks after the patch hits before production can ramp up to meet replacement needs so prices will be increasing until the market gets over saturated by people coming to the party to late to price spike.

Prices have all ready been going up as some people have all ready realized this. With the current price at 694M I'd speculate that though the initial patch release week the prices will be at around 750M - 775M.

Can I put down that deposit to join Goons in your credible hands?
or better yet I can trust Goonswarms leader as a credible 3rd party for purchasing TITAN ships? Blink

Rorquals, capitals, POS items were initially planned but are not included in the list.

There will also be 5 new containers of various sizes to replace divisions, so yeah, guess ME research on those BPO's or people seeding them could make a few quick isk too.

the fact that the general public probably shouldn't trust goons has literally no bearing on the fact that you are a gibbering baboon.

Rorquals and carriers both have fleet hangars instead of corp on Duality currently.

As far as I've seen from the Duality test server, the logistic cruisers are getting their mineral costs nearly doubled to around 8m ISK current prices. Logistic frigates are also getting their mineral costs increased by quite a lot. Small shield and armor RR has bounced in price, and the supply of meta small RR will probably be outgrown by the demand in the weeks after Retribution, if not immediately.

i'll wager blockade runners may increase in demand once people realise their orcas are getting popped because they can now be scanned.

if you can't have an invisible cargo hold, an invisible ship is the next best thing.
just a thought.
