Imal Jaykciw - I randomly pressed vowels and consonants - I got a little crazy with the "a", "y", "k and "c" though.

My main acct (cba to log into him now) is Rocky Deadshot. Rocky has been my toon name for a very long time... so I stuck with it for my main on here.
I wanted to give him a last name though... so I came up with the name Deadshot, as sort of a joke since he was a Merc and my personal affiliation with the American West.

Following in my corp CEO's example, all of my alts have the same last name (so people can identify me easily).

Nerdy was chosen because he was planed to be a science/industry guy... and cause of my own personal nerd factor.

Cipher means many things, including zero, and the act of encryption. The weed circle, and the MC circle in hip hop are both called the Cipher. It also means someone who is insignificant.

I wanted to be an ewar pilot when I started, hence Cipher Jones.
Puff puff pass ******. Hence Cipher Jones
I planned on being rich in game and not wanting for anything, hence Cipher Jones.
Clearly the dopest MC in New Eden, hence Cipher Jones.

Because it sounds cool, and a bit RPish.

Also, because I wanted to focus as a miner and industrialist, thus "Syphon" (take, extract) "Lodian" (Lode, mineral veins) was born.

My story starts around 15 years ago when I first got on the net. I have always been an avid sci-fi fan and gamer (from the 80's up).
In the 90's a slew of Star Wars novels were released, most especially the X-Wing series. I of course playing X-Wing and Tie Fighter like a champ, but then Xwing vs Tie Fighter came along......together with multiplayer ability (28k8 modem gooooooooooo)

Anyhow, various clans kept popping up, wars were being organised and fought on a place called The Zone (RIP, f-you Microsoft for taking it over and nuking it to hell). I needed a clan. I found one, Wraith Squadron (later Wraith League of Players). During the signing up process there came a part where I needed a 'nickname'. I had no idea. So I got a pen and paper and started scribbling various combinations down. What to use, what to use. Spent a good few hours on it, but then it hit me...

During the 90's in Holland a movement, music type became immensely popular, called 'Gabber'. Associated mostly with hardcore music, brand name sportswear (Australian, Lonsdale etc), shaved heads or just slickedback hair, even for girls. No I was never part of this, but my sister was and I listened to hardcore anyway :P
Gabber and Gabberin
NO THATS NOT ME AND MY SISTER, FS. Just an example from google.

Did I mention that I was an avid sci-fi fan? Oh yeah, well Star Trek was also pretty big thanks to the TV shows and the Borg were just complete badass, so I added a numerical value to my name (Trekkies should know where from :P):
The Federation's first battle vs the Borg

Thus I combined the two, Gabber+359, and my gamerstag was born :) I've been using it ever since.

The only thing I fear, is running out of beer !

stoicfaux
#257 - 2011-10-19 19:01:00 UTC
stoicfaux -> stoic faux -> false stoic

Stoicism: The Stoics believed that destructive emotions resulted from errors in judgment, and that a sage, or person of "moral and intellectual perfection," would not suffer such emotions.

That, and it seemed like a pretty unique name that no one else would ever think of. However, I have been proven wrong in that regard. Evil

"Dragosia" is a variation of the last name I assigned to the character which is typically "Dragonis."

I have another character on here "Ryan Ondore" his name comes from the main character of a novel I'm writing.

I created this name after weeks of soul searching and combining the best naming techniques into a single program. The program, unfortunately, never worked. I was drinking tea at the time and had recently gone hunting. Thus T' Elk was born.
