I'll take just this one time out from other stuff I'm dealing with to advise the people who've been posting off topic in this thread in an attempt to derail it to stop doing so.

Your posts have been deleted, and thus far no action has been taken despite it being more than justified if I'd chosen to do so.

I'll be keeping a close eye on this thread from time to time, I don't want to have to moderate here and neither do ISD, as this thread was created in good spirits.

However, if people keep trying to bend the rules, then the consequences for their posts are on their own shoulders.

Back in the day when America Online was the main way to access the internet I went to sign up and it seemed any username I tried was already taken, and I didn't want to have a bunch of random numbers or what not in my username.

I was working with a girl who insisted on making 'cute' nick-names for everyone.... Larry was 'Larbear' Ray was 'RayRay'.... and me being Gary she picked 'gargar'.

Well I tried for it and got it on America Online, and several other places, as no one ever takes it first (I wonder why lol).

Wish I had thought to capitalize it though. Ugh

I wanted "Electric Barbarella", but it was taken, so I went with Ginger Barbarella.

But the red colored hair looked bad, so I went blue.

A few people complained about the name vs hair color, so it was confirming that my choice was correct. Cool

It's from some really old, completely forgotten, super-obscure joke from an old Giant Bomb podcast. I don't even remember what they were talking about but all I remember is the way they said "Baby Choo Choo" made me laugh so I kinda just picked it up and started using it ever since. If I don't use Baby Choo Choo though then I usually use Baby Chu Chu.

Also, fun fact: long after I started using the name I found out it's also the name of a children's toy actually called Bye Bye Baby Chou Chou or something like that lol
