How do people tackle Dread Pirate Scarlet?

I have read that you can make insane bounties off this mission by alphaing her twice or something along those lines but the omnitanking it requires makes me weary to use my nightmare to tackle this mission.

How do most people go about completing this mission? Even more specific does anyone have tips for doing it in a Nightmare?

I may be overestimating how little damage i will do to non Sansha/BR ships.

I fit kinetic and thermal resist on my Navy Raven.

I warp to each room and head straight away from the rats to get me more range. I also fit nos so I stick it on a frig or cruiser that is within 25km.

In the last room when I first warp in, I head away from the rats, kill the towers and the rest of the rats, then go back to the warp in beacon and orbit it. Once you orbit the beacon, the Anire Scarlet is about 22 to 25km away and I stick nos on him. Go through all the spawns. Then warp out and come back through all the rooms for the second set of spawns. Then you can kill Anire.

you can't tackle her, you need to volley her. if you manage it you get the bounty twice as she'll still be in the next room.

I usually blitz it, since I'm only in for the LP, the implant and the next storyline mission.

Alpha her with 4 tengus, she dies before they get a second volley off

Saying that so does everything, apart from the battleships they take 3. Volleys

you could probably blitz this mission in a tornado.

I should buy an Ishtar.

I do it like I do most every mission: Warp in the Domi, drop the sentries, and shoot everything until there are no more red + signs. Then got to the next room, cleaning up any left over frigs with hobgoblins along the way.

Ive never succeeded in killing Scarlet anywhere but the last room. My T2 Gardes just do not have the alpha.

T2 launchers with Scourge Heavy Missiles and over-heating will let you kill her in room 3, but not in room 2. If you want her dead in room 2 *AND* 3, you need guns.

Kill everything. Salvage.

This mission actually isn“t that hard.
You have to fit an omni-tank, of course, but the incoming DPS is something you should be able to tank with moderate skills.

If it is the mission I am thinking of I think I tackled her in the 2nd room, forgot what build I had but it was basically a quick and dirty fast ship with high DPS with the sole intent to catch and kill her. Though it has been a long time since I ran a mission so I may be mistaken hopefully someone else can chim in and verify if it's possible.

The ship can be killed in the 3rd pocket just before the final one, unlike the other pockets she will not instawarp on lock, but will slowly move towards the gate, with my tengu i bring her down in 5 volleys i do 704 dps, she drops a charisma +3 implant.
Also even after completing the full run, it is recommended to go trough all pockets again as there are delayed spawns netting you some more 10M+ , this is random so you might end up going trough it for nothing, all in all boutny + implant + salvage + loot can sometimes get you over 50M+.
