Here are some fits that I have come up with for a black ops gang (which is something new my corp is trying).

Once I get a good feeling for these I will post and ask for suggestions for the actual Black Ops ships.

Dont have EFT in front of me but for the nemesis I would drop BCU and put in a co-pro maybe so you could make better use of the empty utility mid-slot (web/painter/2nd sensor damp) and for your Caldari Recons I would use racial ECM, usually minmatar/amarr are the best imo because guardians/scimis tend to be most common logistics ships in gangs, which should be first jammed out usually. Also armor gangs tend to work better to free up more midslots, 4 webs on rapier, and 4 points on arazu is nicer then trying to shield tank your fleet imo, hopefully the idea is nobody will get hit very much to begin with but, polycarbs for bombers, I would think something else may be more usefull they are already glass cannons, if you can get more CPU out of them missile dmg rigs are nice to fill in lack of BCUs. Or some small buffer on them 200mm plate and some armor resist rigs have saved me a few times. With all the webs and target painters you all should be able to hit almost anything, so warrior IIs I like having more ECM drones for larger engagements but it's all preference. Shield gangs are nice cuz passive resist if you have no way of traveling or having logi or free repairs around after an engagement.

Your bomber fits are not optimal. Use 'arbalest' launchers, with 2 BCU and 1 bay loading rig and a hydraulic bay thruster. Let your bomber be the DPS. Your recons are only using one of their bonus (ie. You should have damps and point on the razu, not just point). Ideally your razu can damp down any target to locking range so low, your bombers can sit outside that range, and fire with impunity. in the same note, your bombers should also carry damps with them- and damp any target that could possibly target them. Let the rapier use the TP's and Webs to make sure your bombers do full damage.

In short- your recons provide an ewar web that keeps your bombers safe, and gives them a 'tank' Because of this recons should be fit for speed and Ewar, that is ALL- don't put dps on them, as their light drones can kill frigs / other light drones that kill bombers. Don't waste low slots with DPS or tracking mods.

Rapier:

Drop the gyros, place 2 nano. Also drop the point and place a TP the more mids you can give to web / TP the better

Arazu:

Drop the Mag stabs, place 2 nano, drop the scrams the invuln and the LSE, place damps and long points. (remember that the arazu can damp down a target and point them, while still being out of targeting range. You need speed to make sure you can kite them like this. You don't need a scram, as the dual webs form the rapier will ensure that they are not going anywhere fast.

Falcon:

Drop the invul, LSE, point, drop the multi and fit a rainbow rack. Multi suck. 6 racial are always better. Your falcon should be at 77K optimal range, and never get shot at. Fit different rigs for your falcon as well, ewar optimal range ideally- you don't need extenders.

sorry just thought of something-

As for black ops, there are really only 2 'good' black ops ships to have. The Sin, and the Widow.

Black ops should be a logistic based ship. Unlike conventional fleets, black ops are not the damage dealers- your frigates are. Stealth bombers with 2 BCU overloaded are doing about 700DPS. You don't need to bring more DPS to a black ops gang, you need to bring more 'tank' for your bombers. Black ops should be the 'king logistical' ship inside of the BO gang. Because of this the widow is an obvious choice. Provided on how little tank you want, you can fit a widow who has a single racial jammer strength of 17.7!!!!!!!!!!

That means that your widow can essentially have the jamming power of 2.5 falcons. Only thing is- making a fit like that leaves you with 0 tank :) The widow is a great BO because it can jam anything that could harm your paper armor bombers.

The other option when it comes to black ops- is the Sin. With it's huge drone bay, and great agility this ship can warp in and out with the speed of a frigate, allowing it to feel very comfortable in the thick of things. Fit it with neutralizers, and have a rack of heavy armor+ shield bots ready to fly out and rep any one of your fleet mates who is getting hit. With the sins large drone bay, you can fit a flight of heavy armor / shield bots, along with a flight of warriors (for killing frigs and other light drones deadly to your bombers) and a set of garde sentries to help in the DPS department if need be. A properly fit sin has an align time of 4.7s so it can GTFO VERY quickly if need be.

Thanks for the tips, I am gonna rework the fittings.

As a side note, I just put the multi's on the falcon for fitting, we have our falcon pilots carry a large selection of racial jammers and swap them out depending on who we are dropping.

I have made some changes to the fits based on your suggestions. I didn't make all the changes you suggested for a few reasons.

1. We don't roam around in these fits, we send out a scout to find a target to covert bridge onto.
2. I fit a little more tank than was suggested because we are new to this, once we get some experience under our belt I may drop some tank.

*** The falcon and widow have multi's listed but they are swapped out for racials depending on the force we are facing.

Something to consider, you might want to consider the targeting speed scripts in some of the dampeners. This means if a falcon misses a cycle, the enemy ship might take upwards of 30 seconds to even lock onto a bomber. This gives your Falcons at least 3 cycles to rejam them. This can be especially useful on logistics, because hopefully whoever is being primaried will die before the logi can lock and land reps.

I have never before heard anyone say the Sin was a good BO. Most of the time, I've seen it discussed as the worst. Perhaps something has changed.

Here's how one of the best Arazu hotdrop pilots fits his: http://dirtnapsquad.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=8392031

Arazus typically make the best cyno recon to bring in the hotdrop. Rapiers are for chasing down everyone who runs from the cyno as the drop begins. Falcons are for jamming out RR and heavy DPS (and jamming whoever is firing on the arazu when the fleet jumps in).

If you aren't bringing covops with your fleet, you'll need at least one covert cyno to return to your staging system and one or two bombers with emergency covert cynos to bridge the extraction BO into the target system if you lose your cyno recon. Consider using armor reps in place of bomb launchers on some of your bombers between the bridging BO and the extra reps, you should be able to avoid docking up or having to break up the fleet while people go repair.

You'll have at least one bridging BO who should be focused on cap regen, fuel/cargo space, and fleet repair (after the fight); everything else is bonus since it won't be part of the fight. DPS BO should definitely fit with agility and speed in mind, since a bubbled hotdrop is a death sentence for a primaried BO. Scan res is an issue too. Without one, the bombers can wipe out the targets too fast!! (which also tells you something about the need for DPS BO at all)

My defense for the sin:

The black ops gang is opposite that of a conventional fleet. In a conventional fleet, it is the frigs / cruisers providing support through EWAR / Logi / killing fast tackle ext. The BS class is looked at for DPS and tank. A conventional fleet fields high DPS and High Tank.

A black ops fleet is reversed. Your frigates are you DPS, while your BS and cruisers are your support. While lacking in tank and DPS the black ops fleet have EWAR / Cloaky / Surprise on their side. Each ship in the black ops gang needs to realize it's place. The frigates (IE bombers- need to make sure they are optimized for DPS as they are the primary damage dealers. A single well fit overheated bomber is doing around 700DPS) The cruisers need to realize that they are the EWAR web that keeps everyone safe. Their primary goal is to protect the bombers from dangerous targets (Small drones / High tracking targets / Small Sig / Fast moving ships) To do this effectively each recon has their own flavor of EWAR. They should be fit for MAX ewar and the nullifying of bomber threats. Packing them with high tracking guns, small drones ext ext

Last but not least are the black ops. The ship class as a whole is largely out of place, as their ship bonuses are a quagmire to say the least. Some have damage / Ewar / Velocity / Agility ext. However the BLOPS being a BS do not fill the normal BS role in conventional fleets (Tank + DPS) DPS is being covered by the frigates, and 'Tank' is the EWAR web provided by the cruisers in the gang. Trying to fit a BLOPS for DPS is an effort in futility as, a single bomber will out DPS your 2bil BS. (Yes i realize that the redeemer with 3 HS and fully overloaded pulse are going to do around 870's- but the fact remains that you still have BS tracking :( )Therefor fitting them for logistics, ewar, and fleet support is the only logical answer. Of the 4 black ops ships- only 2 of them have ship roles somewhat geared toward this role. The first is the widow.

The widow has INSANE jam power if fit correctly. A properly fit widow is basically 2.5 more falcons in your gang.; It should stay at farther range from the fight, and simply use cruise missiles. Again the widow is useful becuase of its jamming power not DPS.

In my opinion I feel that the sin is the best Black ops because of the following reasons:

1. Agility- properly fit a sin has an agility of 4.7s (Frig speed) This allows it to get in and out of **** fast- and can easily keep pace with the rest of the fleet.

2. Logistic support: Thanks to the Dominix hull, the sin can carry a full flight of Heavy shield + Armor bots, Guarde sentries and warriors. The armor and shield bots purpose is obvious. They are there to help provide logistic support to members of your fleet. The warriors are there to help deter other light drones, and to help deter fast moving ships (like intys) that are a bane to your stealth bombers. Lastly the Guarde Sentries can be used to provided an additional 450 DPS if need be.

3. With a rack of Heavy neuts your sin again helps to fill fleet roles by providing EWAR support, and again providing another deterrent for fast moving / fast tracking ships that could be a threat to your bombers.

4. Versatility. The sin is the ONLY BLOPS that can comfortably have a use when engaging all types of ships. Thanks to it's neuts, and drone bay it can fit it's self to engage sub BS size targets. This is a great asset to your bomber gang, as sub BS sized targets are the ship classes that far the 'best' against bombers, from their lower sig.
