Out of Pod Experience

So Being buried in school I was not aware until yesterday that Halo 4 is coming out on the 6th of November, and being the Halo junkie that I am after searching every corner of the internet for any possible limited edition copies left to no avail, I ran over to my nearest game stop and pre ordered it. I also noticed a new real halo mini series made by machinima. (links below) Any way is anyone else as excited about this as I am? I know alot of people thing the halo series is highly over rated and that no console fps could possibly be any good, but I disagree. Many console fps are crap but I have always like the halo series.

P.S. Allegedly, the game itself will also contain a "special edit" of the mini-origin-series, cut at ~90 minutes long (edit: just in the "limited" edition, apparently).

P.P.S. Also, no PC release means I'll just wait for an abridged "let's play" youtube video series soon, since I'm not buying any consoles. Only played Halo 1 halfway seriously (didn't go past the half point) and a tiny bit of Halo 2 (and I mean, like, first couple of missions/chapters or whatever they're called). Shooters are not really my thing (didn't finish any of the Half Life series either, there's very few shooters I ever finished), I prefer to watch a few small sections here and there of somebody else playing.
