Neo Mercurite alchemy needs a crapload of platinum, and platinum is also needed for some techtenium alchemy stuff.. can't find a good link. Techtenium.. mhh

Maybe some guys launched excel, put figures in cells, wrote some formulas and decided that they would need lots of platinum?
