PLease tell me you not going to kill the range that badly on t2 heavy missles.

right now on tq 70k range with rage on dual. 27k ok fine but look at the other heavy t2 missles precision also 27k off a rof fit loki and 57k range for normal missles.

all t2 weapons have short range and long range t2 ammo dont you think missles should be the same?

come on ccp there getting them right and theres killing them and with what i see on Dual. you might has well kill them now.

if you going to kill missles this bad there no point in training them and i will request the sp back for that bad of a nerf.

just give us a short range high dps and a long range lower dps t2 missles that all i ask.

btw, "heavy" missiles are still medium weapons. And thus be nerfed to med gun ranges and damage.

They're differentiating ammunition for missiles in a way that makes them fundamentally different weapon systems. Faction and T1 missiles are the 'long range' ammo. T2 ammo has completely different specializations- T2 high damage ammunition, and T2 high precision missiles.

It's sad that some people don't get this.

The other day on Duality I was sitting in the revamed Caracal and my heavy missiles launchers told me that the range of my Scourge heavy missiles was 97km.

The maximum locking range of the Caracl is 71km.

When I switched to Scoure fury heavy missiles to kite a Maller the range of the fury missiles went down to 43km.
My overheated long point range was 28.8km.

Can you explain what the deal is??

I have been using missiles for over six years now and don't get why people are complaining about the changes? Maybe you didn't fit a tracking enhancer II to your ship?
I have heard rumors that it helps with range increase and stuff
