I got myself a new laptop! Yipeee! Sadly Eve does not want to play ball with this. What happened originally I believe myself is that it was downloading the usual way, but then it decided to go into power saver mode. I'm pretty sure this corrupted the data and stopped it installing. Anyway, I went the manual installation way, but whenever I try that, the packets just seem to stop downloading halfway through. The icon just stops and they won't download. Also, I can't download it the normal way again. or even attempt to, as the installer seems to automatically suggest i am trying to install it with packets now and fails it always.

Ummm.......... help?
