But if you find all the joy and fulfillment you need being a pasty fat slob at a computer all day, more power to you. I hear that the proper application of enough Cheeto dust is the next best thing to a spray-on tan.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

Well i suppose it makes a change from the "I earn 150k a year" post

You are the poster child wellfare queen (king?) that I thought was a legend invented by the Republican Party.

Well Done!

If I made that kind of money, I'd be in here bragging about threesomes.

But in all seriousness, look at some of the health statistics for people who work stressful full time jobs. They have to spend all that extra income on cholesterol and blood pressure meds and "little blue pills" so they can get it up at all and not drop dead while doing it.

OP all of that sounds good for the moment

But

Wait until the nightmares start and you cant tell day from night.

when you suddenly realise that you have nothing but a computer game

That you have lost the ability to find women

When you realise that you have wasted your life on distractions

Then and only then will you open the curtains and let some light in.

Also your a **** poor troll ******

Worry not my friend, this is exactly what society wants you to think, so you are too fearful to be jobless. I'm past this long time ago and i really do enjoy my life.

Your agenda in posting this to the EVE forum aside, I might just add the reasons why I work.

I belong to a small group of people that love their job, because it offers me creativity not achievable otherwise. I have tried art as a way of expressing myself, but producing art did not attract me as much as making software. Or better to say, it could not offer the satisfaction I seeked from creative thinking while producing art.

I work in a respectable company that has been in the top circles of the branch for a couple of years now. I can not say that I'm lucky to work here, because I have built a start-up from scratch and merged with the current company. Basically, I have worked on it and luck did not have anything to do with it. My job is to activelly communicate with clients, decide project's roadmap and implement high-end solutions to often very complicated problems by using nothing more than my knowledge and creativity. The satisfaction that I get when the solution is finished and working can not be compared to anything else, not even sex.

But I am not a "workoholic". My shifts are usually 8 hours long. (10-12 hours in emergency situations which are rare). Even if I had billions of $$$, I would still work and create, because this is who I am.

Good for you, working is a good choice for you. I'm talking about working a job you dont like, that most people do.

Having a job you don't like is like having a girlfriend that you don't love - no one can force it on you but yourself. You are the only one who can decide to accept or decline/quit a job if you don't like it, no matter what the media and people around you say. Changing jobs in today's economics is easy if you are willing to work and dedicate yourself to something that you actually like. Learning is even easier, since you can find learning material on the Internet for everything - from architecture, electrical engineering and mechanics to physics, psychology and programming. It's just a matter of finding your interests and learning the skills in that area in order to become productive enough to work. The best part is, lerning something that belongs to your interests is not a sacrifice, but a journey that is expanding your horizons.

I'd like to say, that as someone who became unable to work due to health reasons that there is an incredible amount of truth in this.

I wish I worked in the area where you live, I would love to be the doctor who refuses life saving treatment and pulls the plug on you, in favour of someone who will actually make a recovery and benefit society.

Speak for yourself. I'm totally content with supporting such people, and I just wrote a $1400 check to the government to keep up the good work.

Now excuse me while I go work just enough to stay in shape, but not enough to be too tired for some freaky hot sex tonight.

Halloween sex is right up there with birthday and Christmas sex.

Fair comment, I was generalising, which is always a bad idea Oops.

Makeup sex beats halloween, birthday and christmas sex.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I can't really comment on makeup sex.

I have an awesome wife, and any time we try to have a fight over something, it never works out. But it isn't like we have any shortage of other reasons to have sex.
