Doesn't matter what the OS is, it's the guts that run the damn thing that matter.

No a windows tablet isn't going to run a game like EVE, at least not without setting the damn thing on fire. I've used remote desktop software to check market orders over my iPad 3, the damn thing is barely able to keep up with something as simple as moving the mouse. Yes, I'm aware that remot desktop isn't the same thing.

I've played some rather graphically intensive games on my iPad, and it's really not that good. I don't understand this tablet for gaming thing. I play over a 50" hd TV, why in the world would I ever choose to play on a tiny little tablet.

Sony and MS can't even figure out how to keep consoles from burning to death, how in the world are they going to create a tablet that won't? I tried an FPS game on the iPad and had to turn it off, the damn thing got so hot I thoguht it was going to break. Even not graphically intensive apps will heat it up enough to cause me to worry about whether or not it's getting to hot.


Tablets are nice, I love my iPad, but they're really not the gaming platform people think. Technology has a ways to go before we start seeing games like EVE on a tablet. Consider that some high end graphics cards come with radiators built in, how is a tablet ever going to keep up with that much heat?


Now an offical CCP app that gives access to things like the skill Q, makets, chat, and mail would be nice.

Look at your fingers.
Now look at the overview.
Try selecting one of the ships on your overview by using your fingers.

Case closed.

(edit: unless, of course, you have a 22" tablet ... ^_^)
