That's kind of cool, it's nice to see references to Eve in other games, methinks one of the Devs is amongst us, probably roleplaying a sansha zombie.

actually rocket (lead game dev) pulls A LOT of inspiration for the dayz standalone from EVE gameplay. What he is looking at doing really makes it sounds like a EVE-like FPS (persistant death is the bomb). Goes both ways too, looked like team avatar was pulling from DayZ during some of their gameplay demos for stations exploration

I love this feature. Got into a drug out 2 minute long fight with a German the other day after we killed his buddy and he killed mine and I died with such an awesome adrenaline rush from it all. Yeah I lost some good gear, oh well. My friend almost has all of his back again. I hope one day I find that guy again.

Yeah, you are right, I am here, although back in days, when I took this screen, I was playing one of my many trial accounts (haven't got money for eve back in those days What? .. Namalsk is pretty old island, it has been released even for Arma II predecessors - ArmA: Armed Assault and Operation Flashpoint) and no, as you can see, not really roleplaying Sansha, I hate Sansha P

Dayz is a great game to play when you need a break from Eve.

Also, Arma2 is a freakin awesome game! When you get a group of guys together and play on a "wasteland" server, it is like Dayz without zombies and you can build bases!

So yeah, I love arma 2 now.
