I have a PVP video I want to share. It's something I threw together quickly from small gang FRAPS, so it's no Clarion Call 4. But, I hope you might find it somewhat entertaining nonetheless.

I'm sharing this video because I want people to know that FW is not dead (not quite yet, anyway). There are fights to be had and people to blow up. You just need to undock and get out into space.

The video covers 3 fights (of the 6 or 7 we got that night) between the Gallente (us) and the Caldari (them). Our fleet comp through out the video is 4 Drakes and 1 Stabber Fleet Issue. There are three things to watch out for during the video:

1) On several occasions, we are fighting against as many blackbirds/falcons/griffins as we have total ships (5). Even under this sort of brutal ECM, we are still able to win fights. There are counters to everything, you just need to know and use them. In our case it's drones and FoF missles.

2) The Pizza Slice of Death, also known as "a Slice of Murder Pie". This is a crucial part of the "split them up and kill them one by one" strategy.

3) Grid Awareness. This is way up on the list of skills that small gang pvpers need to practice. You can see lots of camera rotating and zoom selection in the video.

I hope you enjoy.

I wholeheartedly approve of this nano drake product and/or service.

Nice work :)

1) How big is your monitor?

2)Awesome grid awareness

3) With Nanogris on your team now, just imagine how much better your drake fleets will be. You'll no longer be flying T3 ships and can just own the opponent with Drakes :)

4) And yes, this is proof that Squids blob as much as Frogs blob :)

nice I love those fleets, especially when you can string a bunch of noobs out. The FC should have known immediately what was going on and just ignored it.

The only problem I have with nano/arty fleets is you have to be able to kill quickly or you get no kills. You see this when the BB warps off and something else. Essentially you are a ****** if you die to a nano gang like that. A lach is great for these fleets, but trying to get someone to fly it is another story.........

The perfect fleet (which I am trying to teach my guys) is the twead fleet to counter this stuff. Im assuming you were boosted?

I'm pretty sure they were boosted based on the speeds they were going. The SFI was going over 3k. And not to poo on Smodab's parade, but I don't think Loki boost levels the playing field against a blob like others have suggested. They actually put your fleet over the top. Off grid boosters are so OP that they simply make your small fleet too overpowering to a fleet that has none. Speed kills.

Btw, I think you mean 'tweed' fleet.

Everyone should have boosters, if you do not have you are doing it wrong.

Anyway it is hard to say if these players are good or just that enemy really bad.

No parade to poo on here. I'm not trying to make an agrument for off grid boosts, nor is this a pissing contest over who is better. The point I am making is that there are still fights to be had if people are willing to just undock and fleet up.

We had alot of fun in those fights, and so did the other side. Aramu was a also a very good sport about the whole thing.

Does it calculate the sum of kills for all corporations for all time for the alliance?

If so, I think QCATS joining may have been largely responsible for the drake weighting :)

You know, 4 players told me about this today.

Anyway, real pros do that without links = / just saying... Also, don't worry Caldari we've done the same to Gallente fleets. @tleast when I was leading it and with less numbers, against similar odds and without gang links.

Amusing video though. Shouldn't be proud of whatever that was. That was p terribubble nanof@g@try tbh and you guys have ganglinks = /

Expect to see a fraps battol over this and or excuses below...

Things like OGB are part of what's killing FWs. It's too big an advantage, and newer players who can't use them or benefit from them figure that out pretty fast and just leave.

I have no doubt QCATS joining DnD has done a number on our KB stats. Twisted

But really, <3 and if we'd known Gal leaving was all it'd take we'd have booted him ages ago! Pirate

So, you are suggesting that "real pros" ignore game mechanics and forgo any sort of fleet strategy?

I'm just asking you, because I don't know any other "real pro's" to ask.

What is this "strategy" you speak of? You just go in ballz d33p and fire your PEW and see what happens v0v skill does the rest SON.

When I want "strategy" I play politics, Risk and or shogun total war.

ALSO! OFG is not "killing faction warfare". Expand your gameplay into other areas. Go small gang pvp in 0.0, where there are always things to destroy or be destroyed by there.

You seem very angry. I would recommend some green tea or perhaps a relaxing massage.
