james316 and the miner bumpers are continuing to grief people *snip*
fortunately with empty headed bumbers were blogging about bumping miners i waqs thinking about how to solve the problem

the problem: miners aren't getting the respect we deserve as the producers of all that exists in eve. we are the ship builders, the ammo makers, we are gods.

the solution: end free market

the free market allows griefiers to buy ships and equipment to grief us. i think we need to remove the eve market and only allow direct trade between two players in the same station using the trade window. this will prevent griefers from acquiring our products to use against us.

EDIT: Rumour posting is against forum rules - ISD Type40

The game mechanics do not allow for the abolishment of the free-market. This does not mean that the proletarians (miners, industrialists and the general raff that fights in fleet ops) cannot organize themselves and fight against the capitalist oppressors. The goons once stood to challenge the bourgois, however now they have become the bourgois themselves. We must complete the circle - destroy the rich and powerful. Form collectives and unite against the big people.

Your suggestion is not communism and it won't end free market. Read up a bit then come back and post.

I just don't understand null sec players.

**Please note: **Anytime I use the phrase PvP in a post, I'm talking about shooting/combat/killing things/blowing things up. Thank you.

"We" as in your industrial brothers?
Good luck in convincing all industrialists in game... No way could this possibly not go your way.

Im guessing the real answer was that we needed yet another one of these threads.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Chribba - it is very easy to post jokes in a somewhat serious thread. Do you know what it's like for the true miners? Maybe you've given up mining for a career in publicity?

I think so. We shouldn't let novel and radical ideas scare us.

Marxism states that the workers will always rise up against their masters; perhaps this could happen in New Eden?

... however usually the workers aren't completely unarmed versus monstrous warships of unparalleled destructive potential. Kings generally don't tend to have missile launchers shoved into their pockets for a quick getaway.

Good luck to you, miners. I think a Communist Corp, where only trade within the corp is allowed, and there is a separate currency, would be a lot of fun. In a way, the miners can destroy the free-market by not selling their products on it, and thus starving the population of ammunition, raw materials etc.

My bad.

I am very aware of many of the issues concerning miners, maybe more than you realize. So to answer your yestion. Yes I know what it is like. As far as giving up on mining, never, and never will. I just don't think we're doing it the same way.
