Congratulations you did the first step to become spacerich. Now all you have to do is wait for stalkers to send you hundreds of billions for no reason whatsoever. If ya wanna speed this process up a little you could create lets say a blog or a videochannel.

Just in case this is serious, all you have to do ingame is join corps and talk to people. Should be rather easy to tell apart a femal voice from a male one, even though there is a fair chance of some dude using software to immitate a female voice to get certain 'advantages'.

This is kind of a thing I don't get. I'm a female gamer myself, but I have never had intentions in demanding special treatment because I'm a woman. Sure, on my second day on EVE I got a small donation from a corpmate who heard me speaking in comms, but it made me feel rather difficult. Perhaps he gave that ISK because I was a newbie, who knows.

If I wanted to become known, liked, respected or whatever in the game, among my corpmates, alliance or coalition, I want to achieve it through what I do in the game and how I act. Not because of my gender.

I'll tell you I've given away isk to new players all the time no reason just because, however if your corp mate in any way ask for personal information then you have a problem, just tell prospective stalkers you hate it when people call you big boned and remember your new name is Bertha they'll get the connection to disconnect.

hmmm.. someone gave this thread some CPR to bring it back to life,

I am a woman. I do love going into a new comms room and saying hello...

(EDIT: LOL.. How is it the the word P-O-R-N got replaced by **** in the below post??? never knew that word isn't allowed on the forums..)

I also laugh at the story of the man who, after I first said hello, linked a male **** star's pic in TS specifically to me. Hello??? You think that you show me a pic of a male **** star that I will suddenly go weak at the knees, grab your icon and drag you into a ~special private chat time with me? Baby musta been going through a bad booster reaction to think that. Go back to your CQ and deal.

Instead I pointed out to the other men in TS that this guy was linking male **** star pics to THEM. hehehe...

Makes me feel so much better knowing I'm not that guy...nor am I that bad at going about that sorta thing hehehe

Also a little sad that some are still that naive...

Are there any other chick-in-real-life players out there? I hear this game is mostly dudes.

Maybe this will help you feel better. Yes, you are a special snowflake.

My wife does not play Eve. I think I'm okay with this however.

My wife refuses to play eve. She does, however, occasionally make saucy comments in the background when my mic is keyed up. Funnily enough my corpmates seem to be ok with this.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

No reason to bring your wifes weight into this.

I have met only one person who I know for a fact is female, all others are considered male. Even if they claim to be female.

If I recall correctly, there was an incident during a Null Sec battle about 18 months ago where a female fleet member became "known" as female on comms somehow. Apparently the resulting posts in Local and Fleet were absolutely unprintable, and the female player quit.

Anyone else able to recall this or have any linkage ? Not sure what Alliances were involved.

edit: FOUND ! "One of my last memories in LAWN was sitting in my alpha Maelstrom waiting for a fleet to begin when an actual human female had the temerity to say something to the FC on the Goon comms we were on. There was a three or four second delay, and then the comms from at least 60 or 70 Goon pilots opened and what poured fourth was a chorus of monkey-like howling, grunting, and moaning that went on for at least 20 seconds. I don't care if it was meant in jest or not, it was surreal... animalistic."
