Personaly I think it would be awesome if British teams were allowed in, we've been playing a similar game called Rounders on this side of the Atlantic for a while, was pretty good at it in primary school.

Speaking with Americans and watching it a few times its a nice background when mining roids, go Cubs Twisted

EDIT : Just looked it up on Wikipedia, back in the 1744 it was refered to as "base-ball" around London... Oops

Considering how a good chunk of the MLB is not even American, there is a good argument for it being an international event.
