What's the best non-Tengu ship that can reliably do C3 sites?

Any high DPS battleship that can track recently, has range projection and can fit 2x XL ASBs will work fine.

There is no Bob.

My corpmate could solo all of the anoms with a legion.

Also had a friend who said he could do them in a sleipnir. although I never saw that first hand

Drakes can do the trick since they are pretty easy to fly and leaves you to pay more attention to probes or Dscan.

Bob Artis, you will be missed.

T2 fitted sleipnir with XL shield booster can do it,needs high skill and some cap management for repper if facing 2x BS though so might not be the ship for everyone.

Not being able to fly a tengu, I use a Loki with a strong passive tank - works a treat!

Although, I wouldn't recommend using a Loki, range is always an issue; you end up chasing the sleepers around.
Damage is never a problem, its the neuts that will turn your afterburner off that hurts.

So, yeah I can absolutely imagine running sites in a legion without too much issue.

The problem with Battleships is that you are going to take maximum damage from the sleepers, cos your sig radius is mahoosive.

If you can hit the sleepers from over 71km in a drake, then yeah, that might work.
But if not, they will neut you to death turning off any active tank and if you're running a passive tank in a drake, it might not be enough...

I saw someone doing a good job of it in a zealot once on youtube but I think this might have been a little while ago. CCP may have messed around with the sleepers since then so not sure if it still works. I would probably go with a sliepnir though personally.

I do them quite well in a Legion, both laser fit and HAM fit
I have it setup to run cap stable with 2 neuts, and cap is 15 mins or so with 3 neuts

I've done them on my alt with a Proteus, but I really wasn't happy with the range and had to fit a MWD to chase down some of the sleepers

I have seen them done with a drake, they just take a lot longer

Once upon a time I could easily permatank almost all level 4 missions with a Navy Scorp due to its strong tank. I was thinking about trying it, but don't know if the damage of cruise missiles will be enough to take out sleeper cruisers and frigs. Anyone have any experience? I've also tried out a Rattlesnake on the Test Server and it tanks all the damage of a C3 with ease... only problem is that I can't seem to keep the drones alive and they pop my drones like flies... :(

Use T2 sentries with maxed skills. Pay attention. Carry armor repair drones incase they get into your dps drones armor.
Large drone shield pool and speed can help if you must use heavies.
