For the record, there will be no PIE pilots entering this so called 'competition'

You might need to have a talk with your membership about following your directives. *smile*

I understand my appeal can be a draw, don't be too hard on him.

And a Thorax. I'll have to choose a better ship next time; as you had suggested it was all about endurance and evasion rather than massive damage output.

Apologies for the omission.

I feel a large offensive output would do quite well... if paired with another pilot in an underhanded temporary alliance that is.

Let's just say an attempt at that was made and didn't go as planned...oh well! Lose a ship and learn a little.

We are pleased to announce Inara Subaka the victor!

A wonderful display of combat prowess.

As far as ships on the field, we had several Arbitrators, A Moa, an Osprey, a Maller, and a Navy Vexor.

I suppose the question now is what Ms. Subaka will do with the spoils!

There was never any doubt, was there? Though, the lack of missile based weaponry did make the task simpler.

Currently they're going through preliminary interviews, covering emergency care as needed. I'm working with some people to have better facilities arranged for a more thorough look. Sadly, this is more than my current medical and psychological staff is designed to deal with at one time.

Once we've completed... well, I have been meaning to expand my planetary estates, they will be quite useful in that task I'm sure.

As much as I find this whole thing distasteful, I am as big a fan of a good fight as they come, and so would like to take a quick moment to congratulate Scherezad on an innovative fitting that looks to have been extremely successful (even if it didn't win).

She's mad but she's magic, there's no lie in her fire.

Oh! Thank you. I would chalk up my success as a case of beginner's luck and beneficial circumstances. Thank you for the compliments; and my own compliments to the lovely hostess and of course the victor.

That amount of damage taken would have been impressive in a battlecruiser, or reasonable for a mid-tanked battleship. For you to have managed it in a cruiser is remarkable. Well done.

In light of the recent success of our "Gladiatores Violenta" extravaganza, I'm considering upping the stakes, upping the participation, and upping the excitement for the next event!

We are likely going to pursue a ladder-style 2v2 double-elimination capsuleer "Tournament."

There will be an entry fee, with 50% of all entry fees forming the prize-pool for the top-ranked teams. The more that compete, the more you have a chance to take in prizes.

Stay tuned my lovlies!
