When you right click targeted items icons there should be options in the drop down for drone functions Mine/Salvage/Attack.

When will see the warp scrammed icon come up on the hud when we are in a bubble? What?

Warp disruption message is still in the old notification pop up.

warp disruption bubble needs the deploy timer mouse over.

If i dont know something about EVE. I check https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISK_The_Guide

I like the new circular targeting UI. It might be nice to move the red cross "+" to the outside or make it semi-transparent, because it covers up the ship. It would be pretty cool if you zoomed into your target, that it would do something similar to the Dominion trailer and offset the targeting brackets & UI from the actual ship, drawing a line to a much smaller circle that is on the ship. I hope I explained that correctly.

Also, I was thinking it would be cool to make a target ship's hit area bigger, and when you mouse over a ship it gives you a rollover effect. If you click the ship, it will give you a little mouse menu to target/look at/orbit/etc that stays with your mouse, not with the ship. This way you can pretty much fly most battles without the overview at all.

If the FC can tag ships, and those ships tagged can show up in your main HUD instead of just the overview, you can select them and target them this way at all.

Is there a way to "pin" certain bookmarks as favorite so they show up in space as well? I'm trying to find ways to eliminate that ugly overview entirely.

When targetting Tech 3 cruisers, the picture icon turns into a giant bloated version of the picture.

Auto-pointing at the selected target is not properly adjusted.
It should centre camera on the target but instead it tends to "place" target in the top-left part of the screen. Also, some people place their Control Panel on top and "auto-pointing" in its current state often places (distant, 50km and farther) targets under control panel. Fix it please.

The circular session timers and targeting timers progress clockwise so why does the health bars on the targets on duality progress counter-clockwise. It is counter-intuitive.

At least in Sweden we learn at a very young age that if it's round and moving, clockwise is forward. This might be different in other parts of the world but since all other timers and circular stuff in EVE follows this rule i thought the health bars would too.

and if i'm not totally wrong that's how it was in the dev blog.

Now I'll go and enjoy my circular targeting brackets on Duality, because apart of the mirrored health bar placement I love them.
Any comment of them being less intuitive or harder to get info out of fast than the old ones is simply not true in my opinion. With the bars being separated as they are in this circular manner you have a much easier time separating them making noobish mistakes as: "Oh, that wasn't my armor but my structur taking damage..." less likely.

Where were I, oh yes, Duality.

You are correct, it was clockwise when I wrote the devblog. I'm not sure people are ever going to agree on this, some want it clockwise and others counterclockwise P

But I'll tell you why we changed it.... damage is a negative thing, right*? So that goes in the "bad" direction. If you look at the ship's shield, armor and hull as bars that are also moving, not just white where there is not red, they are trying to go in the "good" direction when repairing, because that's a positive thing.
Also, the damage on your own ship as well as the damage on the modules is counterclockwise (and I'm guessing for the same reasons).

(*even though when it's target that's getting damaged it's usually a good thing for you)

What additianal changes can we expect for the point camera fuctionality?

Needs a hud option and a short cut key plus a way to change the default location.

Hm, yes, you're right.
Guess I just thought it wrong since the old bars all go from right to left and that I'm simply not used to it yet.

Keep up the good work and thanks for your answer.

Are you talking about the secret radial menu? It's based on what you click on, so if you click on a stargate you will get the options for actions on the stargate, and if it's another ship you get the options for that ship. I'm not sure what you mean by having it stay with the mouse?
The FC can already broadcast ships and their brackets are tagged with some icon.

And no, it's not possible to show bookmarks in space, sorry

So you can move your camera around with out loosing the radial menu.

Unless some other team is working on making it happen, at least not in Retribution, sorry Ugh (but Team Five 0 is improving the effects bar by allowing you to target stuff by ctrl clicking on the icons, yaySmile).

I thought the warp disruption messages were in the new notification thingie, but I guess I must have missed some of them, thanks for the heads up Smile

And I'll add the warp disruption bubble deploy timer to the list we are compiling on extra tooltip info Smile

I play with all brackets visible and even with my pvp overview loaded (only enemy ships) I still got the 'can target' graphics on all cans, wrecks and drones. In the small scale fights it was very helpful, being able to see who was in range and who was out, but in larger engagements with hundreds of drones and hundreds of wrecks I can only imagine having the 'can target' graphic on every single object on grid (imagine flying a range tanked blackbird) will become extremely frustrating. What about an option so that the 'can target' graphic only applies to current overview settings?

Yeah, that might be an option, but our plan now is to limit it to player ships and NPCs. I'm not sure about drones. While I would love to have it on asteroids when I'm mining, it just so much extra stuff on your screen... so yeah, we are aware of the issue, and we will also most likely allow you to turn it off so you could have it off in those situation but on when in smaller fights.

Hey all, its been a long time request on the forums.

On the HUD where your target icon list is, can you stop that list from automaticaly shuffling when one target is killed/unlocked etc. This would be a massive improvement because if you go to click a locked target say 3rd in the list and the 5th target is remvoed in the same moment, the target list shuffles over to the right and you click the wrong item. You would click the 2nd locked item in this example.

The locked targets should always hold thier given place in that list and never re-shuffle.

I'll look into it when I have time Smile
