I agree - I was telling myself I was fine with the door, but only after it was reintroduced I realized it was the only occasion I actually saw my ships (usually all zoomed out with tactical overlay on whilst in space).

Currently just logged in with two clients, watching my ships 'breathe' on 2 screens - it's been a while since I've been that active...

One thing - I really can't zoom out far enough to see all of my Charon. Would you mind checking the view of cap ships to see if the zoom max was correctly set?

... Speechless ... they actually caved in ... if they keep doing this then eve is perhaps on the right track, though I'm still a doubter this small gesture is perhaps the right way to start a new relationship with CCP.

Seeing ship spinning back makes me sad for some reason.
A step backwards to go forward comes to mind.
But it works well, so no complaints from me.

The new enter/exit captains quarters button is what we should have had in the beginning. It is nice implementation.

I hear some people say that it is in an awkward spot, but I like it.

I take back what I said. There is still a problem, I guess because CCP are geniuses when it comes to UI design.

If I had "load station enviroment" ticked, and log in, I start at captains quarters. This is NOT what I want. I want to start in ship hangar and then be able to click button to enter captains quarters at will. Why is this so blooming hard to implement?

The problem is that I launch multiple instances of Eve in order to dualbox, and my computer can't handle more than one captains quarters at a time. I like captains quarters but only use it if Im using one account.

Now in order to get the best of both worlds, I have to keep the CQ box unticked, then if I want to go to CQ, press esc, find correct tab, tick it, undock, dock, press enter CQ. Instead of just being able to press a button while being docked. Again, if I want to dualbox, I need to do the same in reverse order. The big problem stems from the fact that my client remembers which setting I have and therefore uses the same setting whenever I start a second instance of Eve.

See what I said about being UI geniuses? The button was a step in right direction, but CCP cannot arrive to the correct conclusion until they have exhausted all other possibilities at first. And spending months doing it.

Ship spinning looks great and it really improves performance when docking/undocking, but i just thought about it and realised i had noot noticed somethign that used to be there, where's the search lights that used to sweep back and forth across the hull? I might have just missed it but i'm prettty sure i didn't see them last night, i'll have to check again tonight.

anyone else finding the overview and chat boxes swapping about willy nilly when undocking a wee bit degrading of the fun of actually spinning your ship?

I had similar issues.

But it was solved with clicking reset window postions and then moving them to where I wanted 'em.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.
