Is alchemy working to keep tech prices low?

It seems that technetium prices have remained fairly stable at 90-100k for the past several weeks now. Even with the fall of Tribute, a region heavy in tech moons, and despite The Mittani's claims that the price's were going to be going back up with cartel action in its aftermath, prices have remained around or below 90k.

How much of an impact are the recently introduced alchemy formulas having on tech prices?

Cobalt, an R8 moon mineral, is many times more abundant than tech moons. If all of the cobalt in the cluster were reacted with platinum to create platinum technite, the total production possibility of platinum tech is something like 3-4 times greater than current levels.

Current market price for platinum technite is approx. 49k ISK.

Producing 200 units of platinum technite with tech + platinum

100 units tech: 8.9mil
100 units plat: 600k
20 fuel blocks: 260k (medium tower, 1 hour)
Total: 9.76mil

Producing 200 units of platinum technite with cobalt + platinum

1000 units cob: 3.2mil
100 units plat: 600k
400 fuel blocks: 5.2mil (large tower, 10 hours or 10 towers x 1 hour)
Total: 9mil

So, has alchemy worked to establish a price ceiling for technetium? Will the price of tech effectively be bound to roughly the price for the inputs needed for the alchemy process?

You must look too it from an entire other side:

CCP has managed to shut up the nerf tech people and has still not fixed the horrible disbalancement free isk printers give.... So they managed:

On pubic image area something

On eve goon favouritism nothing

So yes 0.0 still remains broken

makes me wonder how many hours of dev time they are going to put into it next time when they finaly realize

Why do you think there are attempts at increasing isotope prices?

Issues right now with topes are that even I can make 1000 ice cubes in a week with minimal effort semi afk mining in empire in a retreiver.
