Link, old m3, new m3
0, 250, 1250
1, 500, 2500
2, 1000, 5000
3, 2000, 10000
4, 4000, 20000
5, 8000, 40000
6, 16000, 80000

It's too big of an increase - a 2x or 3x increase would have been more reasonable.

i'm not going to complain because it means I can free up some CPU/PG for extractor heads and processors on some of my larger planets

Has this been implemented already? Or Soon?

Seems a bit OP to me, but nevermind, all useful stuff!

Large planets like gas giants may now be usable. I ignored planets over 25k radius.

Anyone actually uses more than 2500 m3 links o_O ?

Why wouldn't you? It is needed if you have a lot of materials to extract.

I was hoping they would change storage silos a bit. It would be neat if they were upgradable for capacity at the cost of ISK and PG and CPU. Their capacity should be able to get much higher than launchpads.

Or maybe I'm weird for thinking storage units should be for storage and launchpads should be for launching.

You're definitely weird. That would make sense. Why would you want anything to make sense in a sci fi space mmo?!

It's certainly a welcome buff to PI and makes operations on large planets a hell of a lot easier, but there's still a lot of improvements and tweaks that need to be made.

That is a good news as upgrading links is just a pain in the ass ...

So to increase the bandwith, or to change the UI about this ..., but something must be done !

I'd rather have the changes inversed, that is current capacity for 20% of grid and CPU.
The other changes I'd really like to see are an increased cargo volume in the launch pad and storage and the chopping in half of the ECU. Personally I think an ECU with 5 heads at half the base cost, grid and CPU would be a lot more usable than the current one.

that would be better IMO.

At most I only ever have to upgrade one link, and that is from the ECU to the launchpad. The rest of the links are fine at the base level.
