EVE General Discussion

CCP should release the station side of EVE as a free to play sims/second life space station simulator. WIS players can’t do anything Capsuleers can (other than some station activities) and Capsuleers can do everything WIS players do (except get thrown in jail). EVE players who arn't subscribed can also log into station but won't have access to their capsuleer stuff.

• Character created as a Faction Worker. Can’t trade in ISK or any EVE items other than clothes and Faction Credits. Can’t do anything Capsuleers can do. Can only be invited to player created channels and a Stationbound WIS player channel.


• WIS Players use faction credit as currency, 1 ISK to 1 Billion Faction Credits Exchange Rate. Exchange is one way, WIS player can’t turn their FC’s into ISK.


• WIS Players can buy and sell cheap clothes Capsuleers design and make but become soiled unlike the superior Capsuleer brands which can clean themselves.


• Can enter Capsuleer bars but can be kicked/blocked/arrested. Can also be thrown in Jail if EVE Character has high enough standing with Station Owners Faction


• Can work as;
• Dancers - Can be hired to smuggle/sell boosters/ and errr other stuff *ahem*
• Bar Tenders – Can be hired to smuggle/sell boosters.
• Security - (Could confiscate Boosters if you’re caught with them) but can be paid off easily (remember 1 isk is 1 billion FC))
• Mechanic – Can repair a ship. Modules. Takes longer but is cheaper then automated station repair. Station missions where mechanic has to repair broken cables, panels. Can also be hired to store/hide boosters behind panels.
• Toilet Cleaner – People caught botting/breaking the EULA are banned from EVE but also forced to do a week of toilet cleaning (only if its a temporary ban)


• Can pay to be relocated to another station, they’ll be picked up by Haulers via contracts but may die in transit. Character will be permanently destroyed.


• WIS Player can convert their character to a Capsuleer but they need to get cosy with EVE players with High Faction Standings who can then sponsor them. They then pay IRL and become a capsuleer.

Instead of filling stations with NPC's, why not make them real peasants players. Might inspire some to get into EVE as well as let old EVE players talk to old Corp Mates...who can then talk them back into playing again.

So may I accept a contract to haul someone in my cargo and then jettinson him in deep space and perma kill him?

I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't mind for having to pay the collateral for the contract failed :)

And what if I never deliver him to destination? Would he be prisoner in my cargo forever?

Well they are space peasants and EVE is supposed to be dark and unforgiving.

This would have been better than working on Dust in my opinion (good luck with that CCP btw )

If they outsourced it and basically just steered development they could do them both at the same time. Kinda like how they used their Shanghai office just for Dust.
