He isn't saying the mechanic is perfect and totally awesome. He is saying that what you describe is how the system should work and is in that sense valid and not an exploit.

Just do something else for a month and do not log in. They should by then be bored and gone. If the Decs continue after that, by the same party, it may be construed at that time as griefing. If you like the game, this is the best advice I can give.

Otherwise, spend some of that ISK on Mercs to deal with it.

edit: We don't know the full story, or what you have done so far. I don't even see a single Killmail demonstrating how 'bad' this has gotten for you.

What problems is this causing for you? What keeps you from solving those problems within the existing mechanics?

The mechanic really shouldn't allow you to get stuck in free foreverwar with someone you weren't prepared to be in foreverwar with. That's what's going on, yeah?

Actually, that's pretty much exactly what it's meant to do. It's to ensure that people don't wantonly engage in wars because they don't know what they might be stuck with.
