Tippia doesn't have to make some posters look dumb, they do pretty well by themselves.

The reason Tippia uses quotes so much is to address each individual point in a post, others have started to adopt this method because it works and the counter points don't get lost in a wall of text. If other posters find this hard to deal with maybe they should stop posting.

I agree w/ part of that. Nobody can make anyone else look dumb. Some people just are dumb, and it becomes clear when they open their mouths. (ex. OP)

Tippia is knowledgeable about the game, and can make an articulate argument. I'm sure I've disagreed w/ Tip in the past on this or that... as a general rule and a strategy for debate, it's sometimes best just to make your case as clearly as possible and leave it at that. Readers can decide whether or not your argument is sound. Repeating things does not add to the weight of your position. If you are getting 'worn down' I'd just let it go.

Edit: While nobody can explicitly make you look dumb, sometimes the depths of one's stupidity is more pronounced when contrasted against someone who is not dumb. ...probably a better way to say that.

Here I was thinking this thread was over when this brilliant nugget is revealed. I wish this was the 1st rule of these forums.

#1 : You are allowed to state your argument ONCE, do so with accuracy and merit. Do not attempt to add weight to your argument by restating the same opinion over and over again until you think you've bullied your readers into believing you are right and they are wrong.
