I all goes well, tomorrow before this hour the Market Makers will be asked to send ISK.

ATM I am still finishing a piece of exchange backend, the more I can automate the better.

I.e. this is the awful query I had to use just to display the upper pane of *one* half of *one* security:

No, that's not full SQL and I need to retrieve a very expecially formatted *always* 10 records result set (even if only fewer rows matched) that then needs to be sorted from the bottom. In a SQL dialect that does not support bottom selects...

I'd like to know if the Investors are OK for me to reduce the fees.

In the OP I linked the various funds prospectuses, if you are OK I'll modify those as well.

Basically the exchange fees will stay the same and the loads will decrease:

- Open end fund = 1% exchange fee and 1% fund fee. Fees ATM only apply on selling.
- Closed end funds = 2% exchange fee and 1 less % fund fee compared to the prospectuses. Fees ATM only apply on selling.

The Exchange is up

A link to Version 1.0 of the exchange is now available at this location.

Please take some time to look at it.
It is a quite detailed implementation, I'll write instructions about how to use it.



INVESTORS MAY SEND ISK NOW

Instructions:

1) Read the instructions to the end.

2) You don't have to do anything with the exchange.

3) If you reserved shares on more than one fund, then please send the ISK separately for each fund. Why? Because in case somebody (i.e. Grendell) wants to check that everything is being done in a correct way, it's much easier if the ISK amounts match the reservations you made on this thread.

4) Still for transparency sake, please put a comment on that ISK sending. I.e. write "Purchase of 1500 ESYFND shares".

5) If you are a Market Maker you are eligible to the 4 percent discount. I.e. if you reserved 10B you'll:

- send 9.6B (10B - 4 percent)
- put on it a comment similar to: "Purchase of 10,000 MINBSK shares as Market Maker".

I'll figure out if you really are a market maker from the Investors database.

6) Send ISK to VEMEX / Vahrokh's EvE's Merchantile Exchange (both should right click => auto link => corporation to the same). Do not send ISK to anybody or anything else.
In case you are contacted by anyone claiming to act in my place, he's a scammer.

NON FIRST INVESTORS

If you did not make it in the reservations or just want to get shares, you have to wait to November 1st. At that date the Exchange will open for non first investors and you can buy and sell shares like you can do in any EvE market.

The Open ended fund will probably show "0 shares" in the ASK listing until one of the first investors will decide to redeem their shares (not possible for the first month).

The closed ended funds should have shares for sale early enough. When you purchase a share you don't pay any fee or fund "load". Only when you sell them.

There are 5 funds:

One is the open end fund ESYFND. Easy but no exchange, no secondary market, no market makers

The other 4 are close ended and have exchange, secondary market and market makers belong in there.
