Dec Shield - Ruining Highsec Research Forever

Today we're announcing a campaign to destroy safe research throughout the game.

Step 1.) Take a BPO to a research station (highsec, lowsec, nullsec)
Step 2.) Start researching the BPO (ME, PE, copy)
Step 3.) Abort the research
Step 4.) Start the research again
Step 5.) Repeat steps 2-4 for every research slot line, out to 10 years
Step 6.) Sit back and laugh because no one can do safe research for a decade

This works, I just tested it. But there are thousands of research facilities throughout Eve, and I need YOU to aid in ruining all the safe research harbors in the game. Research jobs can only be queued up to 30 days unless the job defaults to longer (such as titan BPOs). An unskilled character constantly cycling a titan BPO in a station can easily rack up years of time in mere seconds.

If you do this, there is a 100% chance of a CCP patch (and rightfully so). I wouldn't waste the isk.

I don't do research so I don't realy care about this idea but I can't help being amazes about the time people use to come up with idears, just to ruin it for others.
What is the motivation?

Isn't this what already happens every day in any busy indy system, without planned interdiction? Days and days of queue waiting for industrial jobs.

You mean mining , or mission lvl 4s ? or spaming jita local ? What you consider fun is rarely what others consider interesting even.
Enjoying for one is playng with the way it is intend to be used. Others are quite the oposite - there is no hapier moment than to find a way to use a backdoor and be the one to find and use it :)

As this is reported countless of times and no one fixed it - it might be better to grief it out enough so someone in the dev team can notice it ? Otherwise it mightremain unfixed.

Just put up a pos with a lab, don't even have to move the BPO's from the station afaik.

No, he absolutely did. This destroys the 100% invulnerable researching from NPC stations. It's a fabulous find. POS holders are deccable.
