Does DAT imply a stabilizer? Couze that would be a nono.

Bob Artis, you will be missed.

I wouldn't go with things that make it easier to either live or invade smaller holes, but rather with just things that make it more likely to get PvP both wanted and unwanted. For example that guaranteed random class roaming WH, highly unlikely that it could be utilized for sieging as such as it'd still have the usual limitations, but at the same time it'd make it slightly harder to make safe farming conditions while providing more traffic in all wormholes.

I know what you mean, but think about it for a second. Wouldnt that be a hi class system worth to fight for?
Second, if you control such a system (and I a meant a handful, five tops)you wont be evicting everyone out of their hole. It would be oh so boring, unless you are really evil.l

Not that i'm under the illusion that CCP are paying attention to this forum and are going to put our random suggestions in the game, but why do you take issue with the idea of a stabilizer?

I did say in an earlier post that the mechanics of WHs is fine to my mind, that is the timers the mass etc...

Putting up some kind of stabilizer to do what?

Make the Wh last longer and also stop the mass limit.

This quite simply takes all the fun out of Whs im sorry and thats why we live in them.

Yeah, many people have suggested this stuff many times.. But frankly, they all just want w-space to be a little more like nullsec. If you want "stablizers" and "wormhole generators" and all that, just stay in nullsec, with fixed systems and gates. We wh dwellers for the most part like things the way they are.

Na, you're just afraid of change. Wormholes are probably the best part of the game but the mechanic are not perfect.

A stabilizer would probably increase pvp

so would just multiplying all mass/jump limits by 100, making all WHs in system appear on overview without scanning them and allowing sov, cynoing and jump bridges, what's your point?

doing **** purely to 'increase pvp' without regard for anything else is just stupid.

finally, I'll finish off with the message WH dwellers like to give to people suggesting stabilizers:

i believed, wh is created so resources can be farmed, yes it is like 0.0 because all of us want to farm them, so we fight for what inside. but others they go there to farm the wh dwellers. its fine. but if they do pure pvp as people mentioned, there are a low sec, null sec, sov, faction warfare and occassional high wardec or concord ganking..

Yeep ;-) but if WHs are maked to farm it and low/hi for pvp like our friend write befere i hope he should like my "brillant" idea hehehe. But.... maybe not if we kill him in low/null when he jump back from WH with all that farmed sweet stuff :-P ;-)

The should tie local to Dust so that you can hire Dust mercs to take out local prior to your surprise attack.

Random static would be a great idea, with random mass so you could maybe jump those caps into a C1/C4 Big smile

It won't work as very few people will jump a ship into a hole where you could be stuck for weeks. It's why C5-6 with C1 statics are generally safe from BS as well as Cap fleets. If you depend on a random hole to get out you could be stuck waiting for weeks. What it would do is make it easier for someone living in a C1-4 to own a carrier or dread. Also you'd be able to get them out.

Former forum cheerleader CCP, now just a grumpy small portion of the community.

What about a situation where the pos or pos's you were going to take would yeald billions of isk or you wanted revenge on a corp.

Would that not be worth taking the sd hit on a couple of dreads?
