then fit it something like this: http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/42858-Cheetah-Scout-for-0-0.html

if its purely intel gathering, cloak, mwd, probes, nanos (for speed and align time) anything else is just whatever.. those cap rechargers help you to be able to run mwd longer but yeah, fit what you want but those four things are what you want on it.

@ Reticle

Looking at the Hyperspatial Velocity, it does increase my au/s by 3. Can you, or someone, give me the strategic implementation of that rig?

@ Castrio
Good Lord...You put that together two years ago? Shocked With no comments? P

I have been looking at those Small Poly Eng House IIs, from earlier today. I will most likely be using ( at least ) one of those, for sure.

EDIT :

This is where I'm at for now...

[Cheetah 3]
Nanofiber Internal Structure II
Nanofiber Internal Structure II
Nanofiber Internal Structure II

1MN MicroWarpdrive II
[empty med slot]
[empty med slot]
[empty med slot]

Covert Ops Cloaking Device II
[empty high slot]
[empty high slot]

Small Hyperspatial Velocity Optimizer II
Small Polycarbon Engine Housing II

With this the Power Grid is 18.75..with max skills. That just allows the MWD and COC to run, with 18.00

My current align time is 3.2s with warpout in 4s.

Max velocity is 653 and 3985 with MWD.

Sometime next week I will randomly pick a spot into deep null and plot a curse...um, I mean plot a course...

Thank you again to everyone

Ha! That might be a little far out of my league...then again...

I was actually inspired by Sir Livingston's route around the map in nul. It was (well is) something around 530 jumps. He is 2/3 of the way through. I think he is even in a Cheetah.

Great time ahead, indeed.

EDIT :

With the current fit in post 22, I don't really see a need for Cap Rechargers. The cap will run for over 4 min. I don't see myself using it for more than a cycle or two, at the most. Besides with the tight Power Grid, I don't want to sacrifice a low Nano spot for a grid upgrade.

EDIT 2 :

This vessel (post #22) currently comes in at just under 93m. I initially entertained the idea for a per ship budget of 150m. Given the chance of being podded is quite extreme, my current implants of 4 come to 32m. That is a current running total of 125m of potential loss.

I could still forego an implant or two for slots 5 - 10 or add to or change the latest fit. This is not carved in stone, but a general guideline to limit the fit and minimize the potential loss.

Faster warp speed means faster travel time overall. It's useful for catching up to or outrunning other fleets. It also reduces the time spent warping point to point, perhaps when you're working on d-scanning out targets and that sort of thing. Further out in null sec, overall distances are greater (check out Venal on DotLan) and that warp time adds up quickly. It's more of a benefit for a far traveler looking to reduce overall travel time and fleet scouts who often fall into pursuit/escape scenarios. If you compare warp times to a fleet, which is limited by its slowest member, warp speed can translate to a big time advantage for scouts. Fleet uses would probably include cynos and/or covert cynos as part of the fit.

The core fit is always about agility, MWD, and cloak. Followed by probes and other tweaks. As for capacitor battery/booster, remember that the only time you can use the MWD or any other active mod is when you're uncloaked. Uncloaked is bad. So for the most part, active mods are bad. You were right in your OP to focus on cloaked speed. You certainly can use overdrives, but nanos balance speed with agility, and agility is the most important. You could still fit one with 2 nanos or use a rig slot for the same purpose. It's just a balancing act for your particular purpose. No matter what though, uncloaked is dead and failing to run a gate is dead, so that's what matters. For probing, Sisters gear and implants take the place of mods, so use probe mods/implants only if you don't have sisters gear or if you're super focused on probing.

edit: don't bother with t2 rigs on a covops. plan on dying regularly

@ Reticle :

Your input is most welcomed. I really appreciate your understanding of exactly what the intent of this ship was. I think it will be a great learning experience.

I shall continue to view as many videos and try to read up more on bubbles. I don't want to go in too cocky and overconfident, yet I want to be well prepared. I shall venture into lo sec for a bit to start with to get a feel for moving around. This time will be spent furthering the characters support and core skills.

The more I look at that, the more I want to plot a course around the map, through 0.0.

I have not messeed around much with that site. However, seeing how you can't (at least IDK) upload the information to your people and places...how does one save a route in game?

I mean I played around with plotting out something manually, by adding waypoint after waypoint...but how does one save that route for future use? I spent the better part of the afternoon trying to figure that out and I am at a total loss.

Yes I am and old man and I am getting mentally ( and physically ) slower by the day. So just point me to the button to click on.Blink

This games learning curve is...straight up....

some bad fits here.

proper 0.0 cheetah:

[Cheetah, New Setup 1]
Nanofiber Internal Structure II
Nanofiber Internal Structure II
Micro Auxiliary Power Core II

Gistii B-Type 1MN MicroWarpdrive
'Cetus' ECM Shockwave I
Small Capacitor Battery II
Cap Recharger II

Covert Ops Cloaking Device II
Sisters Expanded Probe Launcher, Sisters Combat Scanner Probe I
Salvager II (OFFLINE)

Small Gravity Capacitor Upgrade I
Small Gravity Capacitor Upgrade I

ECM burst is for oh **** I jumped into a bubble and a pro inty decloaked me, hopefully you never have to use this.

Deadspace mwd for the reduced cap penalty, this fit can warp 266 au on a full cap. Very few systems have warps longer than that, and it recharges fast for when you are warping around setting safes etc.

Salvager for making an extra couple bux but in practice I've only used it maybe twice, it's generally not a good idea to be sitting near a wreck uncloaked with your ecm offline.
