Hi everyone! I'm a bitter vet coming back to EVE after a long hiatus (EVE never fades!), and have a question regarding invention.

When I left, inventing Assault Frigates was somewhat risky... you had to fight not only the chance that you'd get a failed job, but also the chance that you'd get (at the time, may no longer be true) a fairly-worthless Enyo BPC instead of the desired Iskhur BPC.

Someone mentioned that's no longer the case, that you can now select which potential output you'd like when installing the job. Is that true? I can't seem to Google-fu a definitive answer, and would like to know before running numbers on getting my manufacturing business back in shape.

Thank YOU VERY MUCH!

Yes. You can select the job outcome.

The bottom drop-down selector in the invention window gives you a choice of which item to invent when you have a choice between outcomes.

Ishkur

Enyo

Right now, Ishkurs make no isk.
Enyos can make some (around a million each, after invention costs, ignoring blueprint and facility costs)

(This is ignoring decryptors)

Woo! CSM XI!
