For about a week the api url does not seem to work anymore. EVEMon does not work anymore. Am I the only one that is experiencing this?

It's your end.

Make sure your EVEmon is latest version and/or your application is using "https://api.eveonline.com". Notice it HAS TO BE https, there was a devblog a while ago that http wont work at some point.

It seems that my home IP address is getting blocked. If its from too many requests too often, how long does it take to get cleared?
I have removed all but one Key and disabled All known aps that would use the EVE API.

Has anyone else found this as annoying as I have? Their HTTPS server seems to be about 10x slower than their HTTP server used to be... and for PUBLIC information (i.e. stuff that does NOT require an api key) it can be frustrating to have all my stuff suddenly 10x slower than it used to be... Obviously for private info you want it secure anyway, regardless of the speed hit, frustrating though it may be...

How do I find out if my IP is blacklisted for the EVE API? If it is, how can I get it unbblacklisted?

I guess one way is to contact the support and ask them.

PS: Respect the cache timers. If a certain call cache time is 60 minutes, then it means you pull the data from API, save it locally and won't allow another API call for 60 minutes.

I think the problem is from haveing 2 computers and my phone on WiFi all accessing the api this would cause trouble for the cache timers because they are not aware of each other. Also one of my keys expired, so I think they were all making calls with an expired key.
I have since removed the software from all but one computer so at least I wont be bashing the API anymore. Now to get the new key to work.
