Station warehouse blueprints currently exist, and I have one. I fully approve of GSC blueprints, and will be purchasing at least one.

Thanks CCP, for making an improvement instead of breaking something that works fine based on faulty information about how people play the game, like usual.

Cool, so now we can have packaged cans in the transport ship, and be fitted for speed on the return trip :o)

Hello! Apparently questions will only be answered if they're here (even if a dev can clearly see them and respond elsewhere..) so here we go.

Will NPC sell orders for cans and probes be cut off immediately on release, or will they be reduced to a reasonable size and allowed to run out in order to prevent a critical shortage and corresponding price jump while player production catches up to demand?

From what I remember, back when Shuttles changed to player production, the NPC sell orders just disappeard overnight.

NOOOOOOOOOO! Why you gotta ruin my fun. :(

I too feel that it should have just been claimed that bellow was a feature that was intended.

It was clearly a loud picture.

If I may have a question, selling these containers made isk go out of the economy, which i consider good in this overwealthy set of players. By making these changes these items won't be money drains anymore. So the question is, what did your economists say, how will this effect new eden, in an economical point of view?

It was looked into and the benefit of having this stuff manufactured by the player base versus NPC was deemed a worth the slight diminish in ISK sink. Containers when viewed in the whole of ISK sinks is so small. Now we just add it to the sink that is blueprints.

Inb4 there's a bug letting you assemble station warehouses in CHAs...

Yeah probably not... but glitched 100mil m^3 CHAs would be awesome...

Sorry but we tested that, need to make sure players can't create random black holes in New Eden. :P

excelent good to see more stuff made by players now rather than seeded ^_^

btw i dont suppose you have an ETA on the dev blogs on either the drone region changes or the turret sound overhaul ??? very muhc interested in those two if thye have blogs planed for some time soon ^_^

Music not my area, drone region stuff I still need to write so no ETA yet aside from "before retribution launchers"

New launchers? EVE Launcher, or missile launcher? Or bomb launcher? :3

Kidding aside, I will finally be able to get station containers in nul \o/

Some comments/questions:

1: Would allowing containers to be assembled in POS CHAs increase their capacity? Would this be good or bad?
2: Can packaged containers be placed inside assembled containers? It's been asked before, but I haven't seen an answer (from CCP).
3: I still don't understand the reasons for this... but how in the world do assembled containers have more capacity than volume? Space magic? Gremlins?

Have you not ever seen when killmails... sorry kill reports before Punkturis kills me, love to randomly say that your ship was using other ships as a weapon? Clearly I was referring to a luncher that shoots retributions as ammo, because balance! :P

!: Yea, if containers could be assembled in a POS CHA it would increase their capacity. This is not something we want to allow at this time.
2: No, this is not possible.
3: I have always been a fan of the fairies theory. :)

LOVE these changes....just a quick suggestion.

Gallente BPO seller: change Roden to Chemal Tech
Caldari BPO seller: change Ishukone to Mercantile Club

While your in there adding BPOs to Amarr Constructions....TAKE OUT THE STABBER BPO.
I bug reported this AGES ago. Amarr Constructions shouldnt be selling a Minny cruiser BPO.

+ 1 good job otherwise

This is actually a defect on me and something I just need to get some time to do but it also takes a programmer to deal with the market seeding so need to find time for me and a programmer to do it. No promises but it is on my radar.

If these containers assemble if jetted in space it will mean the station containers could never be re-scooped and you'd have to either wait for them to de-spawn or destroy them.

Despawn is 30 days if not opened or never if near a POS so that is not a good option.

If we have to destroy them please make it so they have less HP. Station containers have the same a medium POS at the moment and it would be a nightmare to clean them up if someone dumps several in your system.

HAHAHAHAHAHA OMG! That is awesome. I now have floating in space a container with 100,000,000 m3 storage and 100,000,000 structure HP.

Suffice it to say this needs to change. Will let you know ASAP what we are changing about it.

Oh god, that is funny though.

LOL - sounds like asking for an exploit.

Code needs to make sure assembled containers fit in the remaining POS space.

Plus of course if the container fits its a CEO nightmare. One container allows a single person to reserve most the space in a 7 tab hangar. I am sure that in most cases the corp prefers the space be shared among 7 members or functions as its actually put in use.

And yup I can see folk jet assembling these - especially if you can store assembled ships inside (some old players said it was once possible)

Twisted station warehouse = instant mini-POS with no fuel costs. Keep a few extra ships inside or tons of ore until real wh owner goes to sleep.

at grav sites etc as extra highly secure space -- even if not anchorable it will take a long time to drift & lots of ammo to destroy. Barge -warp scrambled? Why not swap to PVP ship in nearby container and barge inside.

...not necessarily a bad thing IF the manufacturing cost was a lot higher

Shocked use in high sec belts would be the worst abuse in terms of number of people affected. Secure storage bigger than an Orca!

Great thank you Smile

Anchoring cans in our wspace "friends" systems with "greetings" on them is already popular. But dumping stacks of them at a POS which would take hours of shooting with Dreads seems a bit too cruelTwisted
