AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when it takes me 5 minutes to transfer 8 secure cans to another hanger and while the inventory on 2 different screens are lagging causes me to click on the wrong hanger making me have to search which hanger in which cap ship I was moving stuff to and from then opens into a secure can causing me to start over.. Did I mention i still look for the ship hanger when I have the inventory up? yeah that messes crap up too!

YES, run on sentence and no punctuation. This best describes the inventory issues.

I want my multi windows that dont auto do crap because you had your mouse hover over a certain area for more then .2 seconds!

And you screwed up the hard wiring implants on the market too!!!

I am accepting of change. but when change takes something simple and makes it 10x more time consuming and makes you want to quit the game for the night because the new system is broken. (yes I know thats the intention for the system to work that way and is not broken. ) but as far as actual usefulness the system is counter productive as it sits now!!!

FLAME ON people who only troll forums !!

Sorry to say but you must understand that someone in ccp was working really hard on this hyper über new awesome inventory. Don't get me wrong but ppl in ccp need something to do, and they also need bonuses for theirs work. Next time think about those all poor ppl on Iceland. They need work !! They need to feel that they are good about their job ! Ccp devs said that ppl always complaining about something new.. They need some time to get use to it.. NOT ! :)

Takes me all of 30 seconds to manage my production POS. Literally takes my freighter longer to turn around. The new system is far better than the old one n my books.

While I still have other issues the only real hang-up for me now is all the extra lag.

I suffer from 5-10 second lag when trying to move ships around. Trading and moving ships into my carrier's ship maintenance bay. This is do to the large number of ships I have in the hanger for a ship replacement service.

Oh, yah. and the damn tree list since once again I have a few hundred ships fitted. A total PTA to have to scroll though all of them to get to the top of the tree to reduce it so I can see the other inventory items.

Oh, and the fact that my windows still don't stay fixed where I left them.

Ok... I still have a lot of issues with the new inventory.

Edit: Oh, hay... how about adding a sub menu for the inventory button on the Neo Com that when you click on it you have the option to select your ship hanger or items. That would be a great help. unless the plan for the UI was to make things more complex and inconvenient... which seems to be the design intent CCP used.

I don't think hardly anyone in this thread knows that CCP is already planning 90% of the suggestions in this thread for Retribution

It took me quite a bit to get used to it after I came back. It's still not my favorite, as I preferred the tabbed open can system I was using before, but for my non-manufacturing stations it's still better. Maybe because I still have nightmares about trying to move cans of bookmarks, causing up to 30 minutes of lag, so I don't care about 5 to 10 seconds in my manufacturing station, and no lag anywhere else.

The concept of hangar names is broken. Introduce virtual containers, any size, can be moved, can be renamed, no extra temporal pocket space, can be marked to show up in the right hand inventory pane. And finally, can be put into other containers.

Odyssey: Repacking in POS hangars for modules +1,  but please for other stuff too, especially containers. Make containers openable in POS hangars.

Old inventory system was far more intuitive, what they should have done is give people the choice to use the new one or the old "classic" style.
They eventually let us choose to keep ship spinning instead of using the new CQ as some preffered that, so why not the inventory too ?

Fix the lag and all is good (ish).

I agree that the new inventory was at first really frustrating but after getting over that hill, I wouldn't want to go back to the old.

Hi,

I've removed some unnecessary personal attacks on off-topic/non-constructive comments.

It's understood that not everyone is happy with the new inventory, but if you're going to come to the forums about it, then please post constructively!

Calling into doubt the parentage of the people who like the new changes is not welcome here and if repeated will end up with a warning.

We don't mind negative debates; but do so constructively.

Thanks and fly safe.

Agreed.

If after all these months people still havent figured out how to use it well... Shocked

After getting used to it a bit, it's actually better than the old one. But I kind of wish the filter buttons be moved to the top bar for some reason...

Understandable wish from the view of the user. On the other hand this causes "double code with same intention", which both have to be maintained -> does cost more.

Go here, provide feedback.

The update solves a lot of things, many of them related to the ability to limit the scope of any inventory window, which in turn keeps the workload down and lets you purpose-build stacks of windows for specific tasks.
