Incarna 1.1.2 Audio Issues

I had been having trouble with audio on multiple clients until a recent patch when it seemed to sort itself out. With the new patch on 18 October I now have a new problem.

Client 1 launches properly with normal audio.

Client 2 launches to black screen. I force quit and launch again. Now my audio outputs reset to defaults and away from my headset. Client 1 is now quiet since audio settings changed.

I'm using the cloning tool provided by CCP to create my second client so it's symlinked to the first. The is very frustrating since it's now easier to run two clients at once with the return of ship spinning, but the sound issues definitely wasn't there before.

I use the tool from CCP as well

When the second client starts mine "Blue screens" all monitors for 10-15 seconds then appears. Sounds seems to be working fine for me though.

When you used clone maker, did you name the new clones EXACTLY the same as the old ones? Did you delete all old clones before cloning new ones?

Yes, the second client picked up the old preferences. I might try temporarily pointing to a new preferences folder later and see if that clears things up. I think its trying to repair the sound connection which is why its reverting to default sound ports.
