FW item price spike?

With the latest dev blog, do you think we can start expecting higher implant, faction ship and datacore prices?

I'm sure there will be a large stockpile of LP, but those still keeping hold are more likely to release slowly rather than in the big dumps we have seen before, right?

I bought 10b of FW stuff. Already made 2B on that and that's on day one.

I'm sure they'll go up, different things will take longer than others.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

I have to imagine that there will be that initial spike as everyone freaks out, and then it will calm down into a long slow climb. some people have a ton of LP stockpiled, so they will use it as prices increase as well. Also, if there is a way to exploit the new system, people will find that, and then there will be little to no increase.

I know a thing or two about exploiting the FW system and I don't see any new holes.

I speculated with about 2b, but now i cant even afford to buy scan probes....

I could sell something, or maybe that line might work for me as a Jita beggar !

Think it depends vastly on the items, items that had an ISK purchase price will hike hard (implants, datacores, cap boosters) other things will depend greatly on how each faction does.

If one faction attains a stable Tier 5 balance then expect their ship prices to actually drop as for a long time they will be more profitable to cash LP compared to implants.

I'm sat on a tonne of +5 implants and cap boosters and am enjoying watching them soar.

I would actually expect ship prices to swing more and things like implants, datacores and the rest to rise but reach a new ceiling.

I bought a bunch of plexes after selling all my +5's, and I enjoy watching the prices of plex rise faster.
