Keeping Evelopedia up to date

Will it be possible to keep evelopedia uptodate? For example the material requirement of the ship that have been updated have not been changed. I don't think it represent much work and it will be good practice to try to keep the stuff up to date.

This is also important with the upcoming ship balancing...

Yes please! Please make sure that slots, bonuses etc, of ships are up-to-date on the evelopedia.

If you want it up to date, why don't you keep it up to date yourself? It's a wiki right? Just login using your forum login on that site, and edit away...

Have you tried this out yourself at least once?

Doesn't seem so, because if so you would know that as regular player you simply CAN NOT edit ship main data in the evelopedia. Thank you for trolling.

There is a lot of wrong information on there, it all needs to be updated.

Apologizes, it wasn't a troll. I didn't realise that ship stat pages are locked and could not be edited. It was a quick post because a lot of the time people complaining about wikipedia not being up to date are too damn lazy to edit the pages themselves.

Would be awesome, yes. I also reported a few incorrect things, though it doesn't seem CCP cares at all. The funniest thing was when a GM refered to an incorrect article on an issue, the article was way out of date, it become irrelevant, and she still quoted it to me. Quite funny :)

I'm not sure who has "superuser" editing access or ability to unlock parts of the wiki - is there a way to see on the page edits who has this? I can see the last user who locked one of the ship pages - maybe we can find out who it is?

tldr; The ship data is based on a static database dump and now the wiki format is incompatible and needs to be updated - ETA unknown.

They should just take Evelopedia offline. NO information is better than WRONG information.

Getting the Evopedia pages updated would be really good. So much is out of date its almost not worth looking at.
