The same could be said about low sec...

Yes, but one actually has to pay attention, whereas in highsec a simple difference in how one fits and loads their ship can change how likely one is to be attacked. This is only possible because of local. Remove local and ratting or mining with any degree of security is impossible.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

High sec ISK sources are important to help me and others like me fund that lifestyle so please don't nerf them.

Just fixed a little thing in there and selected the important bits.

Moving the income from high to Low will mean you lose more ships trying to earn the ISK to pay for the ships you lose. This is counterproductive and should be the main point of your argument. Obviously, to afford the ships, you need the 'dosh' and if you have to lose ships to get it, you can't afford to get it, so you can't afford to play.

That might seem a bit convoluted, but it is essentially accurate barring one thing: Faction Warfare in it's current incarnation. That is done in Lowsec rather than high and results in less ship losses currently because they are fit for evasion and are generally cheap anyway.

Players who run Missions in Lowsec lose the ships they run them in eventually. If they didn't have the ISK from other sources to fund those ships initially, they'd never be able to successfully run the missions because they wouldn't have the ability to afford the fits that can almost consistently get away with it.

Also, it is virtually risk free to run Missions in Lowsec when nobody is logged in there.

ahhh Yes.. I like it.

This adds a degree of danger to high sec, while simultaneously getting rid of a horrible game mechanic in one fell swoop!

I do believe James has done it.

hes come up with the answer to our plight.

You... you null guys are cool with no local right?

I have done my share of suicide ganking; and quite frankly, I don't find it fun doing them at all. Probably when I'm bored and just feeling like doing something different, but that's it. So no, it's not about "easy kills", for a small portion of people who do pvp/ganking to make a living, perhaps, but I'm pretty sure most of them/us don't even care about kills being easy or hard or whatever.

You say you guys don't care about how hard it is to gank but the fact is that most of the post's from Null secer's tend to be about how much harder it is to gank people and them wanting it to be easier.

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.

I don't know which universe you're posting in, but I want more people to move out of hisec, not mainly because it'll be easier to gank them, but because it'll be better for player retention and it provides more content to more people without going full-on trammel to protect the most ardent whiners.

Well, the thing about null sec is ...
Lord Zim wrote:

We could ask CCP to buff structure hitpoints. More "content" to be shot !

Because, you know, titans are "trivializing" this current content, it needs a substantial buff.
