Why giving me a Polaris Frigate and GM modules is good for 0.0

We're all very familiar with the cycle of destruction and production that fuels this game. Hisec would be the best example, with people losing ships everywhere, to NPCs, players, and probably even asteroids somehow. More ships are lost in hisec than anywhere else by several magnitudes, and there is a thriving manufacturing base all vying to sell them replacement ships. This dynamic ecosystem is the heart of EVE, and has much to do with why many people prefer to live there.

0.0, on the other hand, has very little industry, very few people living there, and among those even fewer are losing ships regularly. The only people who do frequently lose ships in 0.0 are doing so by joining PvP fleets, which would be the equivalent of 'flagging' yourself for PvP in a game like Warcraft. As long as you don't join a PvP fleet and go looking for a fight, you are not in any real danger of losing a ship in 0.0. You just have to keep an eye on local, and as soon as a stranger enters you warp to safety. Simple as that.

There clearly needs to be more risk inserted into 0.0 life, and i believe that i alone could do this, without the need for cumbersome game mechanic changes. All i require is one Polaris Legatus Frigate fitted with GM modules, and i will singlehandedly strike fear into the heart of all nullbears, and have my fury wash over 0.0 like a cleansing fire. Those who do remain there will be the very strongest and most comfortable with risk, which is how i'm told 0.0 is supposed to be. The only people who will have a problem with this are the weak. Right now, the relatively small number of ships lost in 0.0 allows them to pick up replacements from hisec at their leisure, but the sheer volume i shall destroy will leave supply lines overworked to such a point they are forced to build replacements in 0.0 just so they don't have to do jump freighter runs day and night.

"But how are you going to stop them from warping to a POS when you enter local?" i think i heard someone ask. Well, that's the real beauty of this: with the right GM modules i can destroy a POS in one click. Removing once and for all this ancient and pathetic safety net that encourages weakness. I will also destroy any manufacturing centers i find in similar fashion, until 0.0 administration does nothing except frantically try to manufacture things in different places before i arrive to destroy them. The only pilots i will spare will be miners, which will further encourage 0.0 industry. If there is a GM mod that makes me invisible in local i would certainly use that to further my goals as well, but i can do without it.

You may be afraid that i will abuse this power, and i can guarantee you i will. But take comfort in the knowledge that i will show no favoritism between various 0.0 groups, and instead begin with the north of new eden and travel in a counter-clockwise direction until every last nullbear knows fear, and 0.0 industry becomes more common. Then probably sell out to some 0.0 entity for a system all to myself, become a lapdog to them, take to drinking heavily, and eventually be betrayed in humiliating fashion. The tale of my fall from glory haunting me the rest of my time in EVE.

If a CTA is not called against you they will simply dock. They have nothing to fear.

If a CTA is called, they will be fully reimbursed. They have nothing to fear.

Need new plan.

The biggest problem with your theory is that most stuff in Null sec is produced in the safest places possible. So a capital is more likely built in nearby low sec and all non capitals are more likely built in high sec and moved in.

That and your a troll.... that puts a pretty big hamper on your theory.

Nothing i've said is false.

They may be unpopular truths that challenge your delusions, interspersed with some humor, but none of it is meant to troll.

I really do believe this would make 0.0 more like the place it's supposed to be.

Unfortunately, we are fresh out of Polaris Frigates. But, I hear that you can kill POS's with regular frigates too, it just takes a bit longer.

Wouldn't the natural shield regen be impossible to break in even the highest DPS frig? I call shenanigans.

What actually needs to happen is a dev fleet, all of them in Polaris ships (not just frigates) and go for a roam all throughout 0.0.

Oh, and they have to be smashed out of their minds...
