This is a re proposal of a suggestion I made a year ago and got some positive feedback on the assembly hall for.
I'm not reporting there as I don't believe ourCSM cares about highsec industry nor new player experiences in general.

This is a suggestion post to ccp directly.

The issue I see here is that people who want to go into the hauling or trading profession do not have any logical career path that doesn't involve them also being miners as well. As a starting off player with less than 10m isk there is little you can do to but to mine to make enough money to trade or do delivery npc missions which are extremely boring.

If you do not agree on the above premise then you can stop reading now. This proposal assumes the above premise is a real problem that ccp should fix. If so then this is a proposal about how it may be done.

Firstly we want the solution to provide a real economic need, not meaningless and empty like npc missions.
Second we want the solution to engage player player interaction.
Thirdly we want the solution to appeal incentive wise only for low isk players, namely those who find the normal contract hauling biz too isk intensive for them to participate in.
Fourth we should allow for the seamless integration with participation from higher isk haulers but not incentivize them to farm the low end to the point it pushes out the little guys.

The solution proposed:
Clone shipping.
1. It fills a market need, for people who can't be bothered to clone jump don't want to clone jump and need their clone moved from a to b
2. If you lose the clone, you lose the clone of a player! Could be costly could earn you a bad rep or a good one depending.
3. Clones with no implants are practically free and require little to no collateral.
4. Although few people will trust an expensive clone to any hauler, some may with appropriate collateral.  There will be a small market for haulers with big wallets.  But to keep big guys from killing the market from small guys, make each ship able to carry only 1 clone.
