The dude is worried about a little risk in being in a player corp and gets the advice to do his PI in hi-sec. What's all the whining about?

The point is, either you are in a big corp and don't have the rights to manage PI offices, somebody else is in charge of the important stuff;
or you are in a small corp of random people and have no means whatsoever to actually protect your office in null.

I couldnt care less about frigging wardecs or whatever.

ps. I quit my previous corp cause Im leaving the game, in case you wonder. Its not that I want to be in a NPC corp.

Also, who would do PI in lowsec?

The PI producers in 0.0 - will do just enough PI to supply their POS and increase the cost of Tech 2
The PI producers in WH - will do just enough PI to supply their POS and increase the cost to Tech 3
The PI producers in lowsec - will abandon their POS farms and the systems will be 'again' deserted wastelands
The PI producers in highsec - will add the increased price to the cost of POS fuels and building materials

Now answer the quetion, who is really going to cry in the end? *hint* It will not be the PI producers.

....as if 10,058 Goon voices cried out and were suddenly silenced.

What are you planning to accomplish with a one-man corp?

It's really quite cheap to create your own one man corporation. Also, the "little" guy is adviced to use CONCORD's customs offices in High-Sec.

wow just wow

Source - just go over to the discussion of the new PI custom office changes. This was said by CCP Omen to people complaining that the new Custom office changes hurts small corps. He is saying we should all become carebears or GTFO rofl

Not exactly what I would call a realistic comparison to an average players chances in todays game, or above average for that matter.

I think lowsec is scarier... spent about 5 hours in null and saw one other person in that time. We spent over an hour trying to out afk-cloak each other

Heres a word for you.

Clueless.

I run two one man corps, one for pvp and one for isk printing. I do well with both.

I accomplish a lot with one of my alt corps. Handy for keeping assets organized and managing large numbers of contracts.

There's a good reason for requiring a player to be in a corporation to set up a POS - just imagine the spam of NPC corp towers in high-sec that would be impossible to take down because of CONCORD mechanics.

Maybe part of your problem is that you've been three godawful corps in your time.
