Using a weapon as a deterrent in a diplomatic situation is only viable when you have proven that you have deployed it in the past and are willing to use it in the future.

As a long time AlphaCentauri player I can assure you that the only effective way to deal with drones is to have them nerve-stapled.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Problem 2: AFK while missioning.
Problem 3: Using drones AFK while missioning.
Problem 4: Using drones set to aggressive AFK while missioning.

Oh wait. You already knew that.

Not missioning AFK, mining AFK my mistake for making it unclear.

I'll help with what I know!


You need solid active tank so you can care less about your Hulk/Mackinaw. Pithi B-type small shield booster will keep all your rat annoyances away. It is well worth the investment, as you will not need to kill rats and you can run that stuff permanently.

Also kill half of the spawn and leave smaller portion of them alive - so that bigger spawn doesn't come. Check every 20 minutes.

Keep your drones in your bay.

Even cooler IDEA. Remote repair your Mackinaw with a Special Logistics character. Your miners will be invulnerable.

really - add warping align time 300% on gun aggression and eve becomes great again
