People at CCP release something sandboxy regarding content that is iterated on that can be destroyed and people still managed to whine their way through because now they have to be bothered to put in effort when earning money or doing industry.

I applaud this dev his tenacity in answering questions and keeping active, while most of the reactions to this new dev blog have been excellent the whine power of some boggles even my mind! It is good that PI is expanded further.

I dream of a day where I have slavefarms and slavelabour for my fields and need to ruin my planets atmosphere with poluted industries! For now my own tower that earns taxes when people use it is an excellent first step in what I hope is a wider scope.

wow just wow

Source - just go over to the discussion of the new PI custom office changes. This was said by CCP Omen to people complaining that the new Custom office changes hurts small corps. He is saying we should all become carebears or GTFO rofl

I'm not sure that's the meaning of the post. Reading the second sentence of this quote carefully, CCP Omen does not state that the little guy should stay in highsec. Only that when in highsec, should he choose to be in highsec at all, the planetary customs offices are convenient. And I happen to agree that creating your own one man corp is dirt cheap.

No, they have to put in application to a corp in a major nullsec alliance or GTFO.

Every change CCP has made for the past year seems to have been aimed at strenghthening the major alliances. This is pretty much THE reason why Im quitting the game.

There is no blooming sandbox.

You mean you have to own the 0.0 space before you can exploit its riches!

No, I mean those ****ups who think they can own space in null will be curbstomped and will NOT hold sov in null. Period. You are in the big alliance or you are in highsec.

Here I thought CCP wanted to give the smaller alliances a chance to gain their own Sov...

You honestly think the large alliences are going to police every single planet in low sec and wormholes?

The little guy refers to those with no balls to go into "dangerous" space.

Nah. Only the (few) that have the right combination of planetary resources to make stuff that people buy in Jita.

Why require corporations? Okay so I love PI it's something everyone can do with a little skill, and a lot of understanding. But this move, takes PI away from the little guy and moves it into the hands of corporations. Why must these custom offices be ran by corporations and not simply players? Why can't becoming a baron of a ton of profitable planets be another possibility for players? It's always irked me that only Corporations can setup Poses, and now it seems like only corporation will be able to run their own customs office despite the fact they seem to be well with in the range of the single player to afford and deploy.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CCP make it so that we can launch our own personal custom offices as well not simply 'for the corporation'.

The dude is worried about a little risk in being in a player corp and gets the advice to do his PI in hi-sec. What's all the whining about?

If you are going to make the effort of flying your blockade runner 10-20 jumps through gatecamps and bubbles to pick up your planetary goodies from somebody elses sovereignty space, be my guest.

Also, who would do PI in lowsec?

Wormholes are altogether different.

Nothing. The whining is literally about nothing. This is the first news of CCP actually returning to their roots in a long, long time.
