Hey all

If you need anything up to and including cruiser sized, packaged ships transported from high sec into low sec safely and quickly I can cover collateral up to 500mil ISK. Prices below:

PRICES

Pickup fee - 1mil ISK (this is charged each time for multiple pickups from different stations)
Cost per high sec jump - 0.3mil ISK
Cost per low sec jump - 0.6mil ISK
Addtional cost for cargo valued under 50mil - No Charge
Addtional cost for cargo valued between 50mil and 100mil - 1mil ISK*
Addtional cost for cargo valued between 100mil and 150mil - 2mil ISK*
Additional cost for cargo valued between 150mil and 200mil - 3mil ISK*
Additional cost for cargo valued between 200mil and 300mil - 4mil ISK*
Additional cost for cargo valued 300mil and upwards - 5mil ISK*

* Flat fee (not per jump)

Maximum cargo volume per contract - 10,200m^3

Low cost example
Iskur plus fittings picked up from a single station and moved 4 jumps through high sec and 1 through low sec:
COST - 2.8mil ISK

High cost example
Vagabond plus fittings picked up from 2 stations and moved 15 jumps through high sec and 3 through low sec:
COST - 11.3mil ISK

DISCLAIMER - I reserve the right to alter these rates if required for any reason but once a contract has been accepted I will honour the rate agreed at the time.

I used to be an outlaw and so know the hassle of trying to getting tech 2 cruisers and fittings into low sec safely. Being blown up while inside a badger is no way for a beautiful HAC to get destroyed! Don't risk your ISK, let me deal with it.

Coverage - Empire wide.

Eve mail me for quotes and availabilty.

I currently operate in and around the Lonetrek region.

Let me know if interested.

You're really going to have to get more isk for collateral then that tbh.. Thats enough for like 4 t1 frigs..

Might also want to consider joining the already established freighter corps like Red frog

BYDI recruitment closed-ish

Thank you Tarrant, I appreciate the advice, collateral has been upped accordingly.

Joining a corp is an idea I guess, but I like being independent. But from the sounds of it it might be tough to get the capital together to get moving :(

That's a nice service you're offering.

Although i don't need it, i just wanted to tell you that i like that you're even trying
and that you're promoting it in C&P !

Keep up the good work !

Thanks Solstice, that's made me feel better!

I've done my share of pirate activities in the past and I always remember the hassle I had trying to get hold of HACs + fittings in low sec. Of course, you can use an alt, but unless that alt can fly a cloaky transport ship with T2 cargo expanders and rigs, it's going to be difficult to move something the size of a HAC with confidence.

If I was ro raise the collateral to 200mil do you reckon that would do it? It would certainly cover the cost of a normal HAC.

Guess there's only one way to find out. I'll edit the original amount.

Three points of advice:

1. Should probably increase your coverage to the entirety of Empire space.

2. Have a list of fees in the OP so people can know what you're charging, and how competitive you are.

3. Consider making "purchase runs" for people. For example, you charge 5% (or less) up front, and then you go to a hub and purchase a ship/setup for a person, which you then deliver to his system of choice. But keep in mind that charging anything more than a down payment that covers market taxes (in case you have to sell the item back) will make people not use you.

I wrote some true EVE stories! And no, they're not of the generic "my 0.0 alliance had lots of 0.0 fleets and took a lot of 0.0 space" sort. Check them out here:

I used to offer this kind of service and it was rewarding to do so. I hope you have some interest! If you identify some particular corps that tend to hang out in particular hotspots you could do well to gain blue standings with them in exchange for some discount. Safety first!

Thank you Destiny. I shall attempt to respond in kind.

1. Agreed. I shall update the OP. I did suspect that dealing only around Lonetrek may be problematic.

2. I plan on doing this but I am struggling to know where to pitch it at. How about I ask now?

As far as I am concerned the fee should be based upon jumps required (distance) and the value of the cargo. So, perhaps some sort of cost per jump and then a multiplier based upon how much of the maximum collateral I use?

I cant quite decide what X and Y should be in each case below:

Basic charge (applies in all cases and is a constant) - X ISK

Cost per jump - Y ISK

Cargo Value Multiplier - up to 50mil (Yx1), 50mil to 100mil (Yx2), 100mil to 150mil (Yx3), 150mil to 200mil (Yx4)

3. I'd had this same idea too! Nice to see there's a proper name for it. I will look to add this as a service if the basic transporting bit takes off (or if I get loads of requests for it).

If you need startup funds you can get a loan from Market Discussions. I make a bulk of my money from investing in businesses like yours and there are a lot of high rollers who like funding smaller loans (generally higher interest rates).

Depending on how much time you have to play and how successful you will be, you can ask between 500 and 1 billion ISK. For 1 billion ISK you shouldn't need a collateral as long as you are willing to write up a good business plan and describe what you plan on doing. An investor will also look at the interest rate you will be offering, the loan duration, and the exit plan you offer.

To know how much money you can make, look at Black Frog, Red Frog, and Push and compare their rates. Imagine that you can do a few of those runs a night.

Also look through the forum to see who posted in Red Frog and Push looking for low-sec deliveries (a lot of times someone will lament about the lack of low-sec transport services/cost -- that will give you a lead).

Good luck!

I have a lover, her name is EVE. I see her every night and all she asks in return is that I have a pilot's license.

Thank you Wakefield

That's some great advice and I will certainly keep it in mind. I hope to be able to to fund the collateral for these services myself but if I start getting contracts for cargo I cannot afford to cover I shall certainly consider getting a loan.

Heh, I hear that! Great idea.

Do you charge for any empty jumps either to or from shipper/consignee?

If you mean, do I charge for actually getting to the pickup point and getting back to base? No. Getting to the pickup point and back from the dropoff is my problem.

Worse case scenario is a contract that just happens to not fit anywhere workable at a given time due to location in which case I would probably politely decline it or attempt to arrange another, more convenient time for it to happen.

Alright, next question. Will you deliver to a POS if you have the appropriate access and standings? If so, is there a surcharge?

I assume W-Space is off the table by default.

I'm not an outlaw myself, I just like to help out fellow entrepreneurs when I can.

My advice is don't do either of these two things unless they're covering at least 50-60% of the combined value of your ship and cargo. As a mercenary corporation, we refuse all non-high-sec jobs unless our fleet is insured, or we're using cheap stuff like bombers (the money is of course returned later). That way they won't even break even, assuming 50% drop rates, if it's a trap. You can probably even ask for 100% once you have the necessary reputation to be trusted, which for sub-1-billion hauls shouldn't take very long because it's really not a whole lot of money these days.
